He was never said to be slow, it was said he came off the Ball slow. But he improved.

When we got Tyree he wasn’t supposed to be playing that much because of his injury but Jones lost his mind worse than ever apparently- praying for ya Jones, hope ur ok. Ball is great but the man’s mental health is critical. With the new addition in that line, this will help both Maxx and Tyree. I think we are legitimately looking at #1 defensive line for this season! Nice video man, on point.

This kids needs to follow MAD MAXX AND WILKERSON every where they go and do everything they do!!!

He made it through the season without aggravating his foot injury anything after that was a bonus. Tyree has the #1 ability and that's availability and I'm excited to see him in year 2.

I feel he has improved Drastically,he had a full off season to heal and improve plus he will a full training camp and to add too that he has Wilkins and Crosby to teach him and mold him.they should stand him up or put him in a three point stance,he is a baller a force to be Reconize

You're a smart dude. I've been telling people we be having unrealistic expectations of rookies, especiallys ones coming off injury. Some great rookies have people believing this thing is easy, it takes time. Staying with the same defense and AP is going to do this kid so much good, just watch ya'll

Would like to add that Tyree is more of an Edge Defender than Edge Rusher. I think holding the Edge is more important than his actually get off. My opinion of course

can't wait for this guy to be fully healthy and puts it all together.

As the year progressed he got considerably better and I expect a huge leap from him in year 2. Maxx already said he’s on is ass (Pause) to get him to where he needs to be!!!

Tyree was timed at 4.57 ish but since Raider fans hate on their own players they tagged him as slow! Nobody is good enough! They will prob start hating on Wilkins soon.

The one thing he’s learned from max is keeping that motor reved up , I expect him to be a lot better with another of season to get stronger and manhandle the o-lines

The 4.57 was his senior year spring 40! I played in college but to those who never played any sports...you run the 40 in spring practice and the summer camp! 😂

Coming off a foot injury when he was thrown into our D line, he was slower than college speed but kept grinding. I think the one instruction he got was "no offsides" and that's why he wasn't concentrating on the snap. If you look at his final stats they were just behind JCarter's stats. JCarter declined in productivity as the season went on, while Tyree's increased. I'm excited to seeTW this 2nd year, he's going to be a problem.

His best plays is standing up ! He’s just not comfortable with his hands in the ground . The raiders need to use him better , he sucks getting off in a 3 point stance .

You should watch the video of that last game against Denver. Dude had 3 guys blowing him. After AP took over, wat h his film. He was already a problem in the second half. He's the reason Koonce went off. They had to double and triple Tyree. Add in Wilkins..... BRUH!! This d-line I'd about to wake PURE HAVOC on o-lines. You can't double everyone. Put two TEs on Maxx, and he'll destroy them. Wilkins will have a double team, Tyree will have one, and Koonce will need a "chip" from the RB, but that won't help. And the Raiders brought back John Jenkins and Adam Butler. And we still haven't seen Bryon Young yet from Alabama.

He can't get off the ball. His reaction is a half step off. It's nice he can run people down, but he DOESN'T GET OFF THE BALL...

It ain't about him being slow. He doesn't have pass rush moves in his arsenal thats the #1 reason why hes not a true DE yet. He fits more on the inside because of his strength but even on the inside you have to know how to use your hands and arms effectively. He got BETTER later but hes still not a TRUE DE hes more of an inside player at this point.

Slaow it down...hes got major potential..but one thing your missing sone things...# 1 he has no moves not a single one just power as you kept saying...this is the nfl everyone has speed and power if not they are gifted with football intellect feel and awareness...he needs to work on his fast twitch short area quickness agility foot, lowerbody, hips and especially hand movements he shiws none of that even watch his college highlights hopefully getting with Crosby this offseason will get him to build his tool kit some...i think he can be good to very good but has to focus on his glaring weaknesses change of direction hand foot and hip flexibility agility and movement change.also doesent have much natural feelbor awareness for the game but his measurables can sort if outweigh that but thats what makes 99% of the great ones elite at their craft!

Our defense hasn't been this good since 2002? Expectations for an elite defense this season is wild when you consider couple years ago we had to score 35 to win the game and still loose cause defense couldn't stop a high school running back if they tried. I hope our Online holds up this season. Hope whoever the first string quarterback can help us. It's opposite day. Wish we would've resigned our coner back and jacobs. Las vegas to green bay quite a change of scenary. Bet u any jacobs gonna ball out with green bay this year.

His physical traits were never the issue. What I disliked and is still a problem is his almost absolutely non existent hand technique. He relied on power against inferior competition and that translates poorly to the NFL level. He's very fortunate to have Max and now Wilkins to take attention away and he can develop in reasonable matchups. Even in this tape his lack of hand technique shows up several times and he is jammed. At the end of the day, the nonsense narrative about Jalen Carter worked and we skipped on the much better player to reach for him, that's why fans were mad.
