It was a madhouse in there! So much fun

The second half schedule is not difficult. Five games vs Chicago, Green Bay, and Minnesota. Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans too. Lions could (should?) go 7-2 and that may be enough to grab home field advantage throughout the playoffs. I love the new Lions!

As far as stats go it was a blowout. But they kept trying to be cute in the red zone instead of just padding their lead so they kept settling for field goals

I mean the NFC North is extremely weak. The Vikings are the only ones to give them a run for their money and now Cousins is out so they basically locked up the division.

No one beating Philly in the NFC. The Lions haven't beat anybody besides the Chiefs who are pretenders this year, plus Kelce and Jones were not playing. Their schedule is a cakewalk. They are not beating Seattle, Dallas or SF in a 1st round matchup.

The loss to raven put things in prospective with this team. They're good but not great. They need more discipline and determination.

I’m still not convinced as they haven’t quite proven themselves against the top tier teams. Sure they beat KC but they didn’t have Kelce and a couple others. And then lost badly to Baltimore. But with seemingly only two more tough games against Dallas & NO, and with Minnesota losing Cousins for the season, it certainly looks like Destroyt will be In the playoffs

Oh my God, That combo with him and Aiden would be so fun to watch but alas I don't really see any way that Holmes could make that happen. The cost would be far too high to pay between assets to get him and payroll restraints from his salary in a year or two. I hate to say it but I think the best course for Holmes and the Lions is to just stay the course and keep all of your draft assets. We already know the man is going to draft at least 1 or 2 more pro bowlers next year to go with the 2 or so he has drafted every year he has been here.

It seemed like he had time in some of those snaps. Especially in the first half. He also overthrew a wide open receiver for a TD in the 4th that would have brought them back in the game.
