Las Vegas shooting I WILL NEVER forget that night. My friend loved country music and I didnt, she bribed me into going. Plus it was my birthday and hers since we share a birthday. But then we heard gunshots we were frightened to death. Hiding under bleachers and running. I had a gunshot wound on my foot. I lost blood, but I also lost a friend.
Sorry for your loss. On one note though: at least the victims didn't have to go through this guys trial in court. He did the world a favor by offing himself. Again: sorry for your loss.
Why doesn’t anyone talk about this tragedy anymore? It feels like this was swept under the rug. I haven’t heard anything about it since 2017. My heart hurts so bad TO THIS DAY for the victims. That trauma is for LIFE😢
Media like this is the reason shootings are so common. They need to be moved past from, not dwelled on. What can we learn from this shooting? Have stricter gun control? That's never going to happen in America. Just let it go away.
It breaks my heart that this happened I feel so sorry for the friends and family of the people who lost their lives and the country music stars who were there the guy who did this is a physcopath
Well apparently he'd lost over 1milliok at the casinos... so I guess , maybe, he wanted to leave the world and wanted to just watch the world destroyed before he went.. In the words of the Joker... "Some people just want to watch the world burn".. It's sad.. If he was stressed about his life he could've just ended his own life instead of taking people with him.
No words for how awful the events of LV took place. We are living in the end of times where violence and mass casualties is the norm of our lives. We have no one to blame but us for being more divided and supportive of such acts. I pray for the victims of the shooting.

I suspect that while "Good Morning America" is normally seen from 7 to 9 A.M. local time, I would think that on this day, "GMA" probably ran live across all time zones, meaning it began on the West Coast at 4 A.M. PDT that morning.

As a Canadian I'm all for freedom and liberties, but America you really gotta fix those gun laws. These mass shootings don't happen around the world and if they do it's one in a thousand. Gotta fix that second amendment. There's no reason a human being needs that kind of firepower unless they're active duty in the military. Don't give us that "it's my right" shit either. If you don't change it then stop acting so surprised every month or two when this happens.
Will be interested to see if this if the autopsy reveals anything like in the Charles Whitman case (undiagnosed brain tumor theorised to be contributory to his actions).
nothing pathologic was ever found in his brain--no motive at all was found--there was some question about severe gambling debts but I don't know if this would have driven him to do this---he had been scoping other cities to shoot at large gatherings (Chicago etc)
what about the Hispanic lady who warned that "you are all going to die and you are all surrounded" 45 minutes before the shooting took place? Don't you think this is cause for investigation? They have cameras that show this lady's face because she was even thrown out of the concert because of her warnings...how come no one talks of this?
Maybe the American government needs to have a closer look at who has automatic weapons and how many. hunting rifles and hand guns I get. but why does anyone need a fully automatic weapon with hundreds of rounds.Full auto weapons are meantt for the military to use in a multiple combatant situation. The nature of a full auto weapon is to take out as many people as possible in the shortest time possible.
A sensable comment finally as a Brit I don't understand the need for semi and automatic weapons. I understand the American gun culture but why semi and automatic weapons. I am against guns but can understand people wanting revolver or shot gun a compromise. As I see it as an outsider the NRA runs America by backing politicians throwing money at them. Buying politicians off to stop gun control bills going through. Very few gunmen who are shooting people seem to be stopped by armed civilians making that arguement null and void. The only civilised country with out gun control. The number of dead from shootings the same as military killed since the 1700's. How many babies ,mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters have to die before Americans wake up and stand up to the government and the NRA. Everyone who blocks gun control bills have blood on their hands yet still calling out second amendment rights. Statistics from country's who have introduced gun control thrown out as evidence and people say they have been doctored. The rest of the world just see this as American ignorance and brain washed by NRA and officials.

We immediately put on the police scanner and listened to that unfold before we turned the news on. It was high drama on the scanner with so much confusion and calls of shooting at other casinos which turned out to be false. The FBI agent is sketchy a/f. The bureau covered up much of this.
The brother is emotionless and unsympathetic and is making remarks like youll find out....and his behavior looks erratic....i think he knows something!!!
I never bought a gun, but i would buy one for safety only. I don't like guns, but to protect myself and my home, i would buy one. The nutcase, Stephen Paddock, as well as every other nutcase who mowed down multiple people over the years, bought guns to kill people. Paddock bought rifles, as well as bump stocks, and wanted to mow down as many as he could. The whole thing is very anti-climatic, as he died so fast. He had an arsenal in that hotel room, and could have been quite a hard person to take down, had officers gotten into that room. To kill himself was so lame. He died so easily. It was unlike a horror movie, where the villain continues to stay alive, just when people think he has been killed. This guy gave up so fast. It doesn't make sense, really. I think there was more than one shooter. There is a video that shows the sound of the gunfire, and it is different than other gunfire that went on about the same time. I believe that there was more than one shooter. I also believe that possibly, the other person was in the hotel room as Paddock, and may have killed him, just to throw off the scent. It makes sense. The sad thing is, some nutcase is watching this video. He has seen the body count, and he has plans to exceed 100. These shootings are getting worse and worse. It might be worse the next time a big time shooting takes place. Let's hope not, but like i said, these shootings are getting worse and worse.

I love how this vid starts with talking about how Isis and Al Queada scope out Vegas for terrorist attacks but this was a bitter white Republican American, like every single mass shooter. Domestic terrorism is THE leading threat in this country and it's always the conservative right-wingers. This is the most tragic story. I still can't believe it. I'm in a 30th-floor suite right now directly above the sphinx at the Luxor directly across from the venue. My heart breaks for everyone who was there that night. All the victims. It's the most awful thing I can imagine. People having the time of their lives, with music, friends, dancing. I just wish this country could escape the stranglehold of the Republicans who make billions off these weapons killing people. Gun control NOW.

the same thing happen Little Rock Arkansas at a rap connect but no one got killed also in Pine Bluff at Pjs when Tupac was alive someone came from the back door without beening screen and try to shoot him but a girl was in the way who got shot in the back this happen three s before he was killed in Vegas I was there
BULLSHIT - every hotel/mall/and public place in israel has security measures - and not only it doesn't ruin people`s vacations - in fact it makes them feel more secure.
I was there in the mess not like people watching videos taking them apart and making stories up way off from what actually happened, they should show their support and respect to the wounded not calling them actors... I have seen them live....instead of taken videos you think you can analyze apart everyone should figure out how to prevent events like that. There are so many ill people around us... and nobody can see that, really... in my hotel people panicked hysterical screaming active shooter in the hotel, when wounded running in, a women, it’s also on a video flying around on Facebook and RU-vid, running with flip flops not sure what her soles are made off sounds like wood or some hard material, she is running over tile floor and is making a rattling like gun sound noise if you just listening for a second till you concentrate and then you see it oh it comes from her shoes.... there was not a shooter in our hotel, just panic because bleeding screaming wounded came in from the concert and people assumed we had a shooter, instead we got wounded in our hotel and hysteric hotel guests panicked and creating a whole mess in the hotel which mad the situation worse, with that said, this situation happened in several hotels around the Mandalay bay simultaneous and similar to what we saw in our hotel, the cops got 32 calls with 32 different shooting location till they figured after sending cops to all this location including our hotel its only one location, they wasted time on the fake location and false reporting, to be on the actual location the Mandalay bay and that’s what we have seen as a guest and experienced there been actually there in the middle of it, also people were thinking its fire work, people where drunk and did not notice this is a serious situation, people where paralyzed by what happened, there was loud music, dancing drinking it takes a minute to rap your mind around what’s going on around you....
Only small minded ppl who can't fathom complex situations think it's fake, my heart is with all the victims and to ppl like u who had to witness such horror

It always sickens me when reporters are asking about the condition of any cop involved in this. Not trying to say cops deserve to be injured or worse, but they always jump to wondering about that. It's like there are 50+ people (that some may or not be cops) are dead and 500+ are injured, and you're main concern is the condition of cops?! Screw that noise with a cactus. How about be concerned about ALL that were involved instead?
