Hi C&J - We are so glad that the $2 bill's good luck kicked in for you! Agnes is absolutely adorable!!! It's the adrenaline that kicks in when you arrive in Vegas that keeps you going for 30-hours. We also agree that downtown is best weekdays during the day - we avoid it weekends at night - too many crazies! Crackin' good Q&A. Counting the days. Cheers!!!😎💚☘🍻
Thanks so much!! The 2dollars are definitely our new lucky charms we carry them with us daily. We most definitely will only go downtown on the weekday for a few trips now as we like it less busy. Agnes is definitely adorable but she totally knows it haha 🤣🤣 big hugs 🤗🤗
😂😂😂 Chris speaking his truth about downtown and I was left feeling disappointed with my experience at Bellagio after my stay. Hopefully we pick better hotels next trip 😂
Back from our 2nd trip but wanted to thank you for the heads up Binions Cafe, amazing wee greasy spoon with brill value yummy food. Ate there twice and enjoyed both of them!
I really enjoy your vlogs and this Q&A!!! Lots of great info!!! This was a long video and it took me a couple of days to watch, but now I wish it wasn’t over! Lol. Can talk about Vegas all day!! Take care!💁🏻♀️
Thank you both for this fantastic series of vlogs. We have really enjoyed them, you both looked like you had so much fun. Looking forward to meeting you in Leeds in the summer! Suzanne & Clair x
Newer Subscriber, recently binge watched everything! Well done! (Binged B2V too) Joleen’s voice over for Circa was incredible! Chris, just saying, I always appreciate your artistic B footage. It does a great job of putting us there with ya. Keep having fun! Continued success!
Awesome! Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed my voiceover, we thought it would be better to give some context to legacy instead of just playing music 😍 thanks so much for watching 😀😀
You two are awesome. Thank you for all your effort into your VLOG. I love Vegas, and really connect with you both. My Wife and I go four times a year, and Vegas very much the way the two of do. My favorite part you shared this trip was the Irish Dinner you had off Strip. It is on my list for a future trip. I also love seeing you with Dylan and my friends Darren and Sally. I look forward to seeing your next trip. Cheers
Hi John we really love Vegas too and are glad that it comes across in our vlog. 4 times a year is amazing I'd love to be able to do that even once 😍 The Irish restaurant off strip is great, if you make there make sure you try the Guinness ❤️ we had a great time with the lovely Jones family they are a fab bunch. We hope to run into them again at some stage. 😍😍
Thank you so much 😊 we are so glad to hear you enjoyed them enough to binge watch them!! 😁 We should be back in September with plenty more vlogs to watch of Vegas
Vdara is quickly becoming our favorite hotel as well! Their bar is great and who doesn't love a cafe that's open 24 hrs? 😄 Love your vlogs and maybe we'll run into you later this year in Vegas! (BTW, Agnes is soo cute!)
We think Vdara is definitely our favourite of all the hotel rooms we've stayed in, especially after the fab addition of the link walkway to Cosmo and bellagio. Hopefully we will be back in Vegas before the end of the year. Thanks for watching 😍😍
Welcome aboard! We are so glad you've found our videos and enjoy them 😁 Vegas is a very special place, there just isn't anywhere else like in the world 🌍
Guys, I absolutely love Vegas as much as you! I get it and many of my friends and family do not. I get so sad when I have to leave and begin planning my next trip right away, and I live in the States. 😂 I thoroughly enjoyed watching your entire trip. You guys would be such a blast to hang out with! I would say that on our trip this past March, we stayed at Paris. It is our "go to". Love it. We also tried Beer Park and Brew Dawg and had the complete opposite experience. We were looking forward to Brew Dawg and couldn't even get seated. Not busy, simply mid afternoon and waited for 30 minutes. Closed the upstairs, wouldn't let us sit at the bar downstairs, and refused to seat us for 30 minutes with open tables. Very disappointing. However, Beer Park during March Madness was great! Service was excellent. Keep up the great work. Hope to run into in Vegas sometime and share a drink!!
Aww thanks for the lovely message 😁 we definitely love Vegas a lot. I wish we lived in the states it would definitely make getting there a lot easier. We loved both brewdog and beer park had good experiences at both. I'd definitely like to go back to beer park when the sun is shining though 😍
Aww loving the round up you guys! Lots of new inspo. DO NOT do the all you can drink on the high roller wheel, we did it last visit & I have zero self control & after the wheel I fell asleep throughout the whole of Micheal Jackson One show! 🤣🤣 can’t wait for your next trip. X
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is excellent and excatly why we haven't done it yet as we also have no self control when there's a free bar you have to take advantage 😁😁 thanks for watching so glad you enjoyed them
thank you both for taking the time to make this video with all the great questions. you two are adorable, and one of our absolute favourite vegas-loving couples. Aggie is so tiny!! we have a Dane so the background noises are much louder 🤣
What a great roundup of your trip. So glad to hear what happened to the golf clubs. Going in September to see Pink with my sister. Would be awesome to run into you. Love the vlogs.
I liked you until your Blackburn comment 😂. Leeds Fan im afraid. Anyway, just watching your recap now and wanted to say thank you for all the great info. We are due to go a year to the day now, so nearly time to book! . Thanks again, genuinely got so much info and fun from your vlogs. Cheers, Scott
Joleen's dad is actually a Leeds fan so today we had a bit of back and forth haha 😆😆 Hoping you guys have a fab time planning your trip and enjoy every minute of it 😁
I have been saving this latest set of vlogs to binge but I couldn't stop myself from watching the q&a first😆 really enjoyed the conversation and insight! Cheers to you both 🍾 (Ps. I havent been on the High Roller for the same reasons, just can't do it!)
Hi crystal thanks so much for watching 😄 we hope you enjoy the rest of the series as much 😍. Yeah I think we might not be high roller people as we have no self restraint 😂😂
@HangoversHandpays 🤣 so ive quit drinking in the past few years but for me I mean not being in control and hung up on that thing with no damn bathroom, it's a hard no for me 🤪
Yeah I definitely don't like not being in control, it why I struggle with flying but that's another can of worms haha. Congratulations on the sobriety, that's amazing 😍
This series has got me excited for my next trip to Vegas in August. You have to go to Nashville! One of the best places in the USA. Loved the vlogs. Thanks for taking us on your journey.
I totally agree Mary its said to see it now cause it feels like it's become about the money and the people's don't actually matter. Thanks for watching 😍
Well done guys, always great to hear you talking about Vegas. The hand pay thing does get under my skin. Being from NZ, I lose 30% straight away and that just seems unfair but when I tried to claim it back I found out that I had to have an address in the USA and file a tax return so it was literally money just thrown away. I just don't get it, taxing gambling winnings....I mean you pay tax when you eat, drink, do anything and then even when you may have lost 3K they tax you the one time you win. Grrrr, it really pisses me off LOL.
Yeah I know we are fortunate that we have the treaty between the USA and UK but it's a pain in the arse trying to claim it all back. It's also why we gamble mostly at MGM cause we know they won't deduct the 30% if we win.
Agree 100% about Bellagio! Huge let down for me. I think my absolute favorite stay in Vegas was an Aria Sky Suite I scored right after Covid lock down. The level of service incredible, the pool was so comfortable with cabana style chairs, and free soda/water at your convenience 24 hours in their private lobby. Plus limo service to and from airport is included for all guests! If you ever get that opportunity through a comp offer, grab it. Truly impressive- unlikely my stays at Bellagio- including a Bellagio 1 bedroom, 2 bath suite offered after Covid lock down.
@@HangoversHandpays Yes, they were desperate for players. Trust me, I am not a Sky Suite comp level gambler. While it was a great one off, I know I'll never be offered those type of rooms again unless I win megamillions-lol!
Always love the Q&A wrap up. Also, agree Bellagio has gone downhill. Not on same level as Wynn. Definitely stay at Resorts World. Their pool is underrated.
Throughly enjoyed that. Liked the Blackburn comment too (I'm a Bradford City fan - someone has to be) and thought that will upset the LS boys haha. We are having 3 nights in PH too in Sept with a fountain view so looking forward to that with what Chris was saying about it
We do love PH! We had a great partial fountain view last year from our room there. What dates do you go in September? Chris is a die hard Blackburn fan for his sins has been since he was a lad. My dad's a Leeds man so there was a few interesting conversations between them both yesterday 😂😂
Hi guys, love your vlog! Just started with Easter 2024 and will go back to the older ones now. Where is the steak dinner in the intro from please? I am sure it is in one of the episodes but must have missed it 💁♀
@@lynnc397 Hi Lynn so glad you enjoyed the vlogs and found our channel, all the clips in this intro are from our trip in January 2024, the steak dinner is from Carversteak, which is one of the best we've had in vegas. As we put our videos out when we are there, we make the intro before we go!
Great vlog again guys, really enjoyed it, we fly out in 3 weeks staying at vadara, can’t wait. If you are both gambling on different machines do you both use separate rewards cards or can you get 2 cards for the same account?
We only ever gamble on the one machine, as it helps our money go further 😂 unless we are at bar tops and then we have duplicate cards for whoever's card we used at that property. Hope you guys have a fabulous trip 😍
When it comes to your comps, definitely ask if they do rewards card swipes. You definitely get better payouts for MGM comps, Caesars likes to lock out the Comp rooms to one time a year, even at Platinum. My husband is Pearl, due to Veteran status, and I was Sapphire, but now that we are linked I get the free room comps and he gets nothing. Caesars, Platinum both, he gets the comped rooms and I get nothing. We are going in May and will take advantage of Tier match with Wynn, then go to Fontainbleu and tier match from Wynn to get Fontainbleu second level. The biggest thing is to keep watching, and do not be afraid to ask. The worst they can say is No, and that is not that bad.
On the bit about friends and telling them you are going to Vegas again....I so get that.....I literally try not to tell anyone....other than Vegas buddies. I used to make the mistake but then you get the usual responses, "I dont like gambling so it would be boring", I would rather go somewhere "natural", I don't see the point to just get drunk, bla bla bla. I used to try and explain what Vegas really is but I gave up years ago and now just don't mention it.
We 100% get this, it's crappy having to try and defend your choice of holiday. It's not like we are spending their money to get there. I often wanna say that to them too haha 🤣🤣
we go to Vegas 2-4 times per year and we hear "you're going to Vegas AGAIN?!?!" constantly. It's so annoying - lol. If you know, you know.....and if you don't know, hush. hahaha! ;)
We are so glad they brought this route back but it's a shame it's not all year round 😭 hopefully our next trip we will leave from there as it's only 30 mins for us
I’m about to book 4 days comp at the Luxor when we are in Vegas in my name. We’re staying at the Park MGM in Sam’s name for a week due to a great offer she got. Have you double booked before and was it easy to check in to the other hotel room? Im purely doing this for next years offers and the Freeplay I can get will be more than the resort fees. Great episode - Chris
Yes I would just check in on the MGM app if you don't plan on staying in the room. So easy and no queues. It won't matter if you use the room or not or that you both have rooms booked. You may as well max the comps where you can. 😍😍
I was only born in 85 so I don't quite remember Sarah's haha 😂 😂 but were telling you, you must try the peppercorn in east Belfast it's at the bottom of the Woodstock sooo good 😊
Agh. You're just a baby 😉. Next time I'm over, will give it go 😘. Love a good Ulster Fry! Re Sarah's, it was on Castle Lane next to BHS and the one in Bangor was good too.
The one I remember most in the town is the windmill cafe right by where the inn shops were. My dad used to always bring us there when we did the Xmas shopping 😄😄
It's insane that you have to pay tax on winnings on the slots. You could be losing your whole wage and miraculously win it all back in one spin then have to pay tax on it. Here in Australia you keep the lot.
That 300 dollars is for everything all our food, drink and gambling. Though if we have a expensive meal booked we will pay for that separately as we usually plan for two of them per trip 😁
You just literally play the game and link it you your MGM card by using the same email address. Once you select your rewards they will then be linked to your MGM rewards card. Once in Vegas go to the rewards desk to redeem. Always select your rewards before you get there as once your there, there is less to choose from
Sorry, missed the initial time to add a question so i'll stick them here! What is 1 restaurant and 1 other Vegas thing (outside of a casino/gambling) that you havent done yet but are massively looking forward to going to on your next trip. Cheers guys
For us we have a number 1 downtown which is Oscar's, and we have a number 1 on the strip which is carversteak. Next trip I want to either to the zipline at Fremont or the rollercoaster at NYNY, and try some good food at smith and wollensky. We both also always say we have to go to the grand canyon but we just can't ever give up the time in Vegas to go.
@@HangoversHandpays Awesome, definitely look forward to seeing your opinions on all of those. See if you can get Chris on those rides at the top of the Strat, they're a blast, haha.
We were at Mandalay Bay the same night. When we walked in there were 10 security guards following a guy towards the shops. Sounds like we were there about the same time. We were weirded out my the guards but none of them messed with us.
It was so strange wasn't it? Yeah we actually felt uncomfortable with security presence not more protected. Don't think we will be back down that way for a while
Just don't get the whole no filming thing, I am pretty sure more people play in Vegas because of the vlogs, they certainly don't lose money because of a couple of vloggers. I get it could be annoying at a table because other people are there but on a slot you are basically alone, bothering no-one.
Thanks for answering my myVEGAS question on Instagram the other day 👍 My favourite Vegas restaurants we have been to are: MOT 32 at Palazzo and Lago at Bellagio (we had an outside table at the very front overlooking the fountains). Going to try Bazaar Meats this trip not sure where else yet.
@@HangoversHandpaysthe sour soup dumpling are amazing. I found it very good value for a high end vegas restaurant. It’s even good to go and sit at the bar in there and have cocktails and small bites.
