The framing of the Laser Cat shorts is a stroke of brilliance. The funniest moments were always when the camera cut back to Lorne Michael's office where Bill Hader and whoever was the guest that week would be excited about what they made while Lorne was completely stone-faced

Having made a couple of stupid films with friends when I was a kid, it's the enthusiastic, amateurish vibe that I love most about Laser Cats. That, and the sci-fi nerd stuff. And the cats! Everything I love! Maybe Seth needs more coffee, because his opinion is clearly wrong here. ☺

I was happy to hear that Frisbee is still alive, and that while she is stupid and not Vogue material, that she is loved. Also glad that Andy's serial killer tendencies have not escalated beyond scribbling out the eyes of dogs in Christmas cards, and mailing them to the victim (Frisbee was supposed to open that envelope).

I'm very intrigued to get to the next episode, hearing how you all didn't like the "Testicles" shot, because I loved that one when it aired (and still do). It's so absolutely bizarre that it just gets me every time.

I am going to voice an unpopular opinion here, but I didn't hate the paid content this time. Like "Laser Cats," the ads had a "we too know this is not good" vibe. I did notice that while Seth mentioned thinking that he should rent out his place, he never said he did do it. Why not, I wonder? Anyway, I don't think that I am going to rent out my housr, get online therapy, buy workout clothes, or hire losers, but I don't hate Seth and Jorma for suggesting that I should. And that's a first for me. But props to Andy and Akiva for not selling out.

This was the first episode of the pod I didn’t go and try and watch the short before or after hearing all about it. It has always ranked at the bottom of my list of all time lonely island favorites. I did like the comment in this pod about the laser comes from the mouth and it should be immediately obvious it comes from inside the guts of the cat. Classic.

This podcast would have worked much better without Seth Meyers. If the three guys from The lonely Island would just work with a producer to put together a podcast about their shorts it would be much better. I like Seth, but he talks way too much in this.
