Sorry for the lack of videos lately. I've been very busy with work and life and will be for the next month or so. Videos like these are very easy for me to upload as filler videos as this is the kind of stuff I see every day. Let me know if you want to see more videos like this.

I have a Lynx 3015 4kW... how did you cut perf sheets? Did you modify the z offset in the gcode to maintain a consistent head height? I fear for crashing issues when the head is trying to trace over larger perforations.

Hey man, love your videos. They're always super informative. I just have to ask, what laser cutter do you use in the shop? Super interested in getting my hands on a CNC Laser that can cut 0.25" Aluminum fast.

Is it possible to laser cut a custom perforated metal sheet ~1/16" thick with holes as small as 1/8", or will the heat warp it?

Warping is definitely an issue but as long as it's not an entire sheet of perforations it would be fine because we can change the order of cutting to evenly heat the part. If the entire part is perforated like an enclosure or something similar, it's much faster and cheaper to just laser cut perforated material like in the video. We could still do an entire sheet but it would be cost prohibitive.
