Looks really nice. I have the same misalignment sometimes, i noticed the more an object lies directly below the camera the better the alignment works.

I saw a video where a guy said that he got his job lined up correctly every time by first taping down a piece of paper and then doing a very low power cut of the perimeter. Then you just center your item on the cut. Maybe try this with a spoon so that you will be perfectly centered.
