Perfect for a home concert, isn’t it?! We’ve got it set up in my classroom and we have Disco Friday every week!

I have to be honest - I thought the exact same thing when I saw the Mr. G science show for the first time! That is what makes his demonstrations so brilliant, they are simple but packed full of amazing science! Thanks for watching and commenting!

We did the mirror-taped-to-a-speaker thing in 1984 and pointed lasers at it. Yeah, I'm 60.

Wheres the beard xD. Very interesting video tho!! Love it
@BealsScience
@BealsScience 5 лет назад
Awww, the beard. I do No Shave November each year with my students and much of the staff as a way to bring awareness to men's health and cancer (like wearing pink for breast cancer). We sign pledge cards stating that "...our visible display of stubble signifies that a world full of healthy men is better than a world without (men)". The girls in the crowd always chuckle at that pledge... So, on December 1 of every year, I go back to a regular, (mostly) clean shaven guy. Then when November rolls around...the beard lives again! Probably way more info that you were looking for...

Can you split the laser into quantum entangled pairs then broadcast one of the beams to a receiver / dish ect and the other beam through a boze-Einstein condensate. If quantum entanglement is true then once the signal is found that matches the signal that has traveled 10 minutes through space, it should be quantum entangled with the particle exiting the condensate allowing quantum computing with Mars. Ofcorse testing could be done to satalite or in a lab.

you can get the same effect with a modified CRT TV

@@BealsScience I think what he mean is connecting the audio source to the deflective coil of the CRT which is normally use to draw a "normal" image on the CRT screen but when you've hooked it into the audio source then it will looks like an oscilloscope, yeah it will kinda looks like this but you'll only get the limited space of the CRT also it's dangerous to touching around in CRT monitors without some knowledge about how it work, there's a HV transformer in there

Good day! I tried laser experiments with my students - it's super cool! there are questions to Mr. G. - what is it called and where can I find the device that sounds in touch with a cardboard box? Time 7.25
@BealsScience

It is called the Rock-It (Rock-it 2.0 or Rock-it 3.0). I've searched high and low to find somewhere to buy one and it appears that they no longer make them. If you find somewhere to purchase one, please let me know so I can share with others. Thanks!

Oh B/s - chalk dust 4:09 (old fart) is what TALCUM POWDER comes from, as Talc is merely a very finely crushed form of quartz rock, derived from chalk stone. It is still mined in huge blocks and sent to crushers where it is eventually crushed down to an extremely fine powder, and often scents are added, that appeals to various people, so that they buy such & such's talc, over another brand, mostly to defeat bad sock smells, (and other body odours) but also to grease the dance floors for ballroom dancers, and heavens forbid, toss into the air when doing laser light shows. Or am I (at 70) a LOT OLDER than you? And yes: Chalk is a soft, white, porous, sedimentary carbonate rock. It is a form of limestone composed of the mineral calcite Whereas Talc is a mineral made up mainly of magnesium, silicon, and oxygen. As a powder, it absorbs moisture well and helps cut down on friction, making it useful for keeping skin dry and helping prevent rashes Unfortunately, the mineral Talc naturally occurs near Asbestos. Asbestos is another mineral that's woven into fabrics, used in building materials, and more. Although most of us now know that Asbestos is a major cause of CANCER. Hence why some people are now Gun-Shy of using talcum Powder, as there's no way to know - if the mining operation used to obtain the Talc; had any Asbestos included in the mined Talc ? I doubt if the Laser Lights will care if Talcum Powder is tossed into & through the beams. Just don't breath the air while doing that.

Part 3 is so great. This part you moved so much. milliseconds type of focus is wrong. I lost interest because of inadequate focus or concentration on the processes........ Extremely Poor video management. 😢
