Inside info - At the bottom of the video there is a TV-tray next to our couch... My wife went through and is dealing with breast cancer. This tray next to our couch is where she sat... I made these videos/shows after she went to bed. Looking back at this video and seeing it is tough... Today - She is doing very well.
@@EricPenn1147 I was just about to ask you how you avoid frying your camera. If it's any consolation, 2 nights ago, a 5 sec static beam from my 3 watt PD3000-RGB Optlaser projector burned a hole through my black flame retardant commando cotton screen and into the 6 month old 4k TV's LCD screen, that the roller screen was supposed to be protecting. Now, there's a permanent 2mm x 4mm white dot in the middle.😢 So much for flame retardant screen materials. Gotta love that projector, though. Planning to replace my other cheap projectors' modules with the W3000(not A)-RGB modules. Just gotta be extra careful to not burn the entire house down. 😎 Nice video, BTW. 'China', by Vangelis used to be my signature show song, back in the 80s. Color balance looks great on the LaserCube. Nearly went that route. But decided to start out cheap with 2 New Feel M3000 projectors, with 40kpps upgrades for the same $. But, ended up modifying them for wall mounting, then added thermal controlled TECs. Their dichroics wouldn't stay in alignment, so had to modify their mounts, too. "Ya only gets whacha pays fer." BR
Software: LSX. (Laser Show Express). No, the new version (WiFi) of LAserCube will not work with that software. BUT, check out LASEROS which is free and you can play around without a laser attached. IT does a lot of stuff similar to this and more...
Oddly No. The 2W was legally allowed a variance in the USA. "variance" is a pre-authorization to use a device in public spaces... My guess is LaserOS pushed the 2W version hard first and got it... Knowing that, the 1W shouldn't be far behind, assuming WickedLasers/LaserOS are pushing for it... It all seems backwards, but in a business sense and the newly 2W version, kinda makes sense...
@@EricPenn1147 Wicked Lasers said the additional cost to make the 1W varianced would make it marginally cheaper than the 2W. They have no intention of variancing the 1W from what I've read!
@@Pocahontas062 This is correct. The 1W is left behind for the 2W and new things in the near future (Several projects like VenumCube)... It is really fantastic they got the variance for the 2W, I didn't see that happening. They had to change the software around a bit to temp remove any burning features and that worked!

Is yours a 2 watt as well or 1 watt?? Also, any tips, advice or info on anything youve learned after using it to enhance it would be very appreciated! @@ThongNguyen-so5ut Very big diff... Both are 2W. The LD2000 has 40k Galvos instead of the Cube's 30k. Beam shows it wouldn't matter. Abstracts and line-art it is way better! LD series is not portable (Twice the size and not rechargeable). Not sure if you can buy the LaserDock (LD) anymore in looking around...
