Quietly released in the summer of 1993, the U.S. manufacturer Technidisc pressed a unique run of Star Wars LDs that not only looked different than those that had come before, but also corrected the notorious “incredible shrinking aspect ratio” found on previous pressings by Mitsubishi and Pioneer.
