Yes I love to hear how Lazer works on hearing Aides 🦻🏻🦻🏻 But hearing Aides are not weapons of Burning signals to amplifier sound from thousands of miles away from our own ears ? Darn .😓☹️
Damn, I was hoping there was a laser treatment to improve hearing as I have been unsuccessful improving my hearing comprehension using hearing aids, even after the real hearing test (I forget the name).
HOT DOG! I hate getting impressions - it is very uncomfortable. I’m delighted to hear about this new technique and hope my audiologist is using it when I go in for new/updated hearing aids in about a year. Thank you for this video.
Wish all audiologist had this now, been putting up with new full ear molds for profound loss and sanding off spots to alleviate pain for the past two months. Just had new impressions for a smaller ear mold that just fits in the canal. Hoping for a pain free fit without feedback.
I have a brand new Phonak BTE and the earmold has been a headache. It irritates my ear just inside the crevice where the earmold sits. So I use a small bandage to keep the earmold from rubbing against the skin. Been wearing it since October 2023.
Interesting. As the client, I wonder about when I would open and wiggle my jaw to ensure the mold forms to the displacement. Do scans include movements or was I wrong to do that?
You'd have to have quite a few people in your practice with moderate to severe HL to warrant getting such a device. Dome tech has come a long way, and it takes no time to take molds..its tried and trusted. I always request that I get the impression back from the manufacturer to compare and to clean up and give back to the PT as sleep or noise plugs..
Of regular silicone and rubber and plastic ears molds impressions and custom mold ears molds of metal titanium and acrylic and Kryptonite and gold and and silver and lead and Longhorn steer old fashioned country Steer Horns from 1900s and ocean Seashells shaped ears molds human beings sizes .
I have a Phonak Paradis hearing adds for 14 months now and just had the updated and ajusted. I find my left ear iches a lot, they just swapped for a shorter tube but is is still there but not as bad. Is there anything can be done? Thank you
You got me a little worried when, after detailing some of the disadvantages of old fashioned rubber molds you said, "the laser results are as good or even better than the rubber molds". Does that mean that sometimes the laser created molds are not perfect and have to be redone the same way the old-fashioned rubber molds sometimes have to be done again? I was really hoping you would say the laser made molds are so superior that the hearing aids work a little better than if they measured using the old rubber molds.
Im having issues hearing with soft speech where it will sound distorted or to quiet to hear. My ent gave up on me told me to see a audiologist hearing test came back normal and audiologist said nothing they can do. Neither have answers and tell me to see the other. How do i het answers or help?
I'm dealing with something similar. Distortion elimination seems to be beyond the realm of hearing aids. I think the best you can do is maximize the technology the hearing aids do offer and try to live "as if" as much as you can. Your brain will likely adjust to a reasonable extent. In time, you'll probably be less bothered.
@@kaylasmusic I wear hearing aids. This is my point: The current technology cannot do much in the way of eradicating organic distortion caused by Cochlear damage. Volume and EQ help but not enough IMHO. Distortion is simply too complex for hearing aids to tackle.
I like your impression of 👂🏻 ear molds and I can do impressions too see ? 👉🏻👂🏻👂🏻+🦻🏻🦻🏻=👍🏻👍🏻Good 😅😂 I love to be lazered in my ears I wonder what it feels like my ears are burning .😂🔥🔥🙉🙈
