LASFIT LA Plus Series LED Headlight Bulb Conversion Kit is great for my Chevy Colorado 2019 because the dust cover fits. The quality of the product is very good and the great brightness . Thanks Lasfit
The great thing us that LasFit is a California (city of Ontario) base company and replaces any faulty units ASAP no questions asked free for a year and also provide professional advice at no extra cost. Their LED kits are one of the only ones in the market that mimics the exact OEM halogen lights designed from factory giving u true spot on focused lighting with no dead spots and no glazzing coming traffic.
Bought LasFit LC6 led back in early 2017 and it’s time for me to upgrade with the LA series, I love using this brand, I’m afraid to try other brands LasFit ROCK!!!
Hey Jon just installed my f16 hi beams and it was an easy install. My Lasfit's will be here on Thursday. I am looking forward to having LED's in both hi and low beam. I also have the rigid cubes in. All thanks to you man.
I just installed these on my 2020 ran 1500 bighorn and are great with no codes or flickering. The manufacturer says to have the led's at 3 and 9 oclock
They don't look much brighter to me but i like the white light. I was looking at Hikari Ultra LED 12,000 lumens and they are noticeably brighter than halogen, almost like HID. I read your comment bellow, i'm glad they still function without issues.
There is so much information on bulbs and some of it is dated. I have a 2016 Runner and I want to replace my low beam and fog lights for LEDs. What do you recommend. Also, keep up the great work! Just did my interior lighting from one of your other videos. Came out great!
For some reason, when i tried to twist the bulb in the housing it would not stay in there so I took out the orange O ring on the 4runner led bulb and it finally fit
They honestly do. I’ve been getting so many emails from random companies using the same bulbs but different names to try out. But I’m only sticking with the brands I know make great products. At first I was just accepting everything but now I’m slowing them down.
Really enjoy your videos! Question for you, does it matter if the LED chip is in the housing vertically or horizontal? I've seen some led bulbs are 360 degree adjustable, but haven't seen any video of anyone adjusting them. Thanks a lot!
Nice vid man... Do u know which is top and bottom... They say the led chip should face 3 and 9 o'clock ... But does the shaved out section around the chip matter? Also do u evere adjust the actual headlight housing adjustments?
I just pick these up. The 3 tabs that lock into the housing actually slides off (it's held on with snug fitting o-rings). I actually removed them from the bulbs and installed the 3 tab mount and then clocked the bulbs at the 3 to 9 o'clock position. On these the wire should be at the 6 o'clock position. So the cut out should be up top
I put the white and yellow switch backs on my 2017 Honda Civic ext and they had a terrible beam pattern and not bright at all, your better off getting the la plus (36 watts) or Ls (45 watts per bulb) all 6k white
I’m sorry!!!! The t1 from auxbeam are still really good!!! You don’t need to do these. But if you everybhave to replace the auxbeam then yes I’d suggest these.
Oh no Jon I didn’t mean it like that. I meant I’ve gotten like just the reverse, all interior and signal lights. I hadn’t done the low beam high beam or fogs yet. But this just helped me in knowing what to buy for low beams. So thanks again!!!
Jon, you mentioned in an earlier video that I can't find right now there was a product to maintain the 5 volt DRL option with LED high beam bulbs. Can you repeat what that was? We have a 2020 4Runner Limited and the wife wants to maintain the DRL
Would you recommend these over the xenon depot ones? I'm not crazy about the design on the Xenon ones, and these look like a nice compact package. Just picked up a 2020 T4R!
I had HID and they are superior. Just to many wires. im not sure how the morimoto are. Basically though the best LED light for a 4runner would have like 3 sides of LED to it.
i bought the led h11 i put them on no problem but when i drive at night their so low i have to turn fog lights to see more brighter wt am i doing wrong is their a way the lights have to be facing
Hi Jon, can you tell me your experience with Hi Beam LA series in 4Runner which also act as Daytime Running Lights. Most of LEDs flicker in DRL mode. Is it true with LA series? Or we have to use an add on to avoid flickering?
I have these LEDs on my 04 4runner and 02 Celica gts. They are bright white and looks great at night. Just beware if you have annual inspection, some car shops will not pass your car inspection due to the LED bulbs not DOT certified. So keep your halogen bulbs for annual inspection.
I'd like to try these but your Amazon link sends me to auxbeam lights. I'm currently trying to figure out what lights to use from all the reviews out there. On Thursday a placed deposit on a 2020 pro. 5 grand over msrp is the lowest I could find. Here in NYC/long island area most dealerships are 10k over msrp
I see you’ve mentioned not having any issues running these in other comment replies. Would you recommend running these if I don’t want to do a full send on an HID set up? I hate having to drive with my low beams and fog lights on at night. But the stock low beams aren’t enough for me to see safely at night. Did you run these on your fogs also? If so any issues?
These will be good enough on there own. Not as great as HID but to me better then halogen. The white light a lot that reflects off the road more makes them worth it
Awesome! You’re the man! I just ordered off their website since there sold out on Amazon. Can’t wait. I just picked up some cheap Nokya white halogen bulbs for high beams to match.
Thanks for the video. Can you provide an experienced based opinion on this product compared against Xenon Depot? Price, durability, design/construction, and longevity of the product? Thank you!
I cannot. I’ve never used xenon depot just because they are highly over priced in my personal opinion. And you have to cut your dust cap as well for theirs. I do wish to get my hands on them to see if all the hype is worth it.
Blue TRD Jon thanks. I’ve been looking at LEDs but didn’t want to cut the dust caps. This product seems legit. Anxious to see how they hold up to Florida heat and humidity.
So if I was to replace high beam, low beams and fog which ones would I get, I'm so confused because the lights say high/low beam so do I just buy two sets?
I just got these and they are great!! Now, I am wondering... is there a way to “lower//point” the beam down?? People on the street seem to be annoyed by the brightness.
While driving at night, how many people coming toward you have flashed their high beams at you thinking you had your brights on? This is the main thing, I think, that nobody ever says in their headlight reviews...
Hey trd jon I have a 2019 4runner, I’ve seen your videos on led headlights from a year and 2 years ago. I’m torn between the auxbeam T1 series you had and the lasfit la plus series. After having both which do you think I should get? They are about the same price, thanks for your help.
HID's are still brighter though, I had a Mini H1 7.0 Setup with 45W Ballasts. My bowls started to fry so I popped in new headlights with Lastfits LA Plus, they arent anywhere near as bright as a good HID setup. Even my wife during night driving was complaining about light not shooting out as far. Aftermarket LED just doesn't have it yet, but they are closing the gap for sure.
@@toyotabrony that's true but the problem are optics and reliability. I have a pair of Osram CBI Next Gen bulbs in my QX60 and it produces the same light intensity of OEM LED. I don't have to worry about them blowing out in a year.
@@Dexion845 but that also depends on how hot or how cool the led bulbs are. Anything that’s above 150 degrees Fahrenheit is a thing that we always take in the consideration for lifespan. Anything under is a good option. The higher the wattage, the shorter the lifespan, the lower the wattage, the better the lifespan. And that’s why Lasfit - LA plus is surprisingly reliable. Because after 27 minutes which is the average commuter time in the US, and according to bulbfacts that did the observation of the LA plus. It gets cooled up to 96 degrees Fahrenheit. That tells me that those LA plus are the way to go for our daily drive. 30W led bulbs are perfect balance for an all in one led bulbs. Usually a led bulb with an external driver is a better option for heat management and longevity, but sometimes this not always the case for this. To me, anything between 20W-35W is a sweet spot for low beams, anything between 25W-65W for high beams. And anything between 8W for u want to match the headlight color temperature, to a usable 30W is a sweet spot for fog lights. Even if it’s a common 1 year warranty, with pool doing observable testing for led bulbs and how they truly perform. We know they will last.

The higher the temperature, the shorter the lifespan. The lower the temperature. The longer the lifespan is. And this is what LA plus are the way to go.
