I’ve been having so many retention issues since I re opened 😔 clients wearing face masks is so uncomfortable, the steam/heat coming out of their mouth and nose through the mask just keeps ruining my lashes 😭glue isn’t bonding properly. Thank you for this video 💕love it as usual
as someone who is currently training in lashing this was so helpful it helped me realize things i may have been doing wrong with my own lashes and made me think back to my lash artist very helpful
I love you guys! I always learn something new when I watch your videos. I have been lashing for over 5 years and never knew I had to make a NEW lash drop 🤯 I’m excited to try this when I open again. Thank you.
you helped me so much with this video,, iam new lash artist and iam sttrugling with retention,, bcs I dont know the products as well and iam learning,, you guys help me so much with this topics! pease and love ❤️
Such much amazing information!! Thank you so so much ! ❤️👏🏼💕 This helps when you have client notes too. Taking note of the temperature in the room while lashing and having notes of the prep that was used so just in case something gets funky, at least there’s something to go back to see why lol 💕 you guys have taught me so much 😆 🥰
You’re retention videos have been very helpful to me since I am a new lash artist! One thing I’m confused on, though, are clients supposed to wash their lashes within the 24 hours of getting the lashes? I was under the impression that they shouldn’t because they aren’t supposed to get them wet. Thank you!
It's really preference, our primer works great for oily clients. You can get it at Walmart 💕 check out our How to Use Lash Primer to Prep video where I talk about both
Livbay lash is the best, i just started my training with my local lash artist, you guys are definitely helping understand the theory better, pls can your products be shipped to Nigeria, i want to buy
Im a new artist and having same issues. I’ve been doing premades bc still haven’t mastered fanning. And yes, retention issues when I’ve tried full lash trays so flat sounds good. Looking to purchase lashes but not sure if I should get your easy fanning, flats or premades. Do u have an easy fanning that’s also flat? Or premades that are flat? Also what glue do you recommend for beginner?
Yvonne Chavez we have a video on our easy fanning lashes if you want to take a look and see if those are something for you ❤️ we only carry flat lashes in classics .15 and .20. I’d recommend our original livbay 3ml or 5ml for beginners ❤️
so does this mean we shouldnt be using glue rings for your adhesives because the ring doesnt allow you to form the perfect dot?! ive been having retention problems!
Im just now coming across this video about how you removed your adhesive from amazon, due to not properly storing it .. I ordered banana-scent adhesive and it dried out so quick I couldn’t figure out why and i just ordered a new adhesive from amazon also the magnetic vibe 🥺 ..
Hi love! When you order from Amazon, all supplies and adhesive comes right from our warehouse. Email customer service supplies@livbaylash.com with your order number about the banana glue drying out! 😍💝
Hi there! I had a question that I was hoping you could answer for me. I’ve been doing lashes for a while but mainly do volume now. I never really have retention issues with volume. But always have issues with classics. Do you know why that could be?
Dominique Terrones classic tend to fall quicker than volume because they are a heavier lash, but it could also be glue dry time, the lengths and thickness you are using for classic or what you are priming with. 💕
I find that with slower drying glues, I get an issue with stickies. So I switched to a faster drying glue, now I have an issue with them not wanting to stick and plopping off when I brush through. Any tips on that? Also, I find that when I do volume sets I'll have better retention as opposed to classic where clients lashes are only lasting them a week. Any tips? It's so hard finding a good price to charge for your lashes knowing you're doing everything good except for retention which makes me feel like not charging anything to clients. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I know when everything is perfect but when it is not, it is trying to put two magnets together opposite they way they should attach to each other. It just is like kryptonite on my lashes. WTH?
So I’ve been doing the pinch method lately and the salon I’m at employs me so I’m not a contractor. I’m the only one that pinches my lashes and everyone says that the oils for my hands can get onto the lashes which I understand but they also said that my screw with retention I’m the only one that pinches my lashes and everyone says that the oils for my hands can get onto the lashes which I understand but they also said that my screw with retention. What can I tell them so they don’t make me try another method of lashing? Like how can I ease their mind that the retention can be just as good with it without pinching?
I’ve been using the pinching method and haven’t had any problems with retention. Using hand sanitizer will help with removing any possible oils in your skin due to it containing alcohol. Hope that helps.
Yes by washing your hands and sanitizing your hands throughout the service removes extra oils from your fingers. At our salons all our lash artists pinch and there is no issue with retention. There’s so many ways to create fans, no one way is right or wrong ❤️
8:55 you say if they got them wet 24-48 hrs that mean they haven’t washed them, so does that mean u only recommend not to get them wet the first 24 hours?
Can someone tell me how I can deal with lint🤭?? I am having such difficulties with lint falling in my glue and it clumping or the actual lash extensions having lint. I do not know whereeee all this lint is coming from but someone help😭😭
Julia Gav it could be from your tape. Try a medical tape or our new white water proof tape! It should help a ton! And make sure your eyepads are lint free ❤️
