I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where RU-vid started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.
We need this as a Verzuz battle with The Clark Sisters and The Pace Sisters. It would a celebration. We could honor Mother Pace,Durandice Pace, and Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. Be a night of healing and praising the lord. Just love all of the way around.
It’s just something about 90s Gospel. That Praise & Worship era is one I’m glad I grew up in as a church kid. The choir always gave you the feels!!! May you rest in everlasting peace 🖤
Yes your absolutely right it’s like you could feel every word that was being sung to you we are so fortunate that someone recognized it and recorded these performances
This is my first time hearing this in full and it gives me chills. I love us, I love being black and I love our shared connection in praising the Lord. Lord I thank you for waking me up today, for covering me, my loved ones and everyone within the African diaspora. In your heavenly name I pray, Amen!!
The emotions black singers express in song, is truly an outward oral personification of life, love, and happiness. We simply want to spread the message in our heads and hearts about the beauty of existing. Rest In Heaven LaShun Pace, rest well. You won your battle and earned your reward. I will miss you.
Yup! The Tribe of Judah is the Most High's Praise and Worship Tribe 🙏🏽😇😊 I got that information from Pastor Stephen Darby. His videos are great and they're still on RU-vid.
@@Bratzzdollny I was shocked and didn’t even finish my comment. I couldn’t believe it. I have listened to Lashun’s music for many years. I’m very sad to hear of her passing. She has gotten me through some pretty tough times with her music.

Here after just finding out that Evangelist Lashun Pace passed away :( I found out on today, Tuesday, 3/22/2022 just 7 minutes ago at 12:00 a.m. So sad, she will definitely be in the heavenly choir. Condolences to her family, friends, and fans.....
My mom just told me today and I’m am really distraught!!! She came to Ebenezer in Atlanta and we had a dance routine to her song! I didn’t even know that was Ms.Pace! I always listened to her and didn’t know I was dancing to legend’s voice!!! She will be soooo missed! God placed her in His hand and gave her that voice!!! Now she is resting comfortably in HIS ARMS!!!
Ever wonder why we as black people can freestyle gospel worship and it comes out so beautiful and u can just feel it in ur spirit? It’s our connection with the Most High. In scripture we see Israel sing impromptu praises to GOD often. We are them! ❤️🔥 ACT LIKE U KNOW.
It's crazy how they took this song I grew up hearing every Saturday morning, and made it trend on tik tok😂 but in all seriousness, 4:02 the way she did that..just gives me chills!😭 Rest In power Mrs. Lashun Pace. Let us just pray for her family, that they may find peace within this storm.
Wow! I heard a small part of this song from TikTok, but I never knew it was a gospel song. Being raised in the church my whole childhood this song just hit me so hard! I absolutely LOVE this! God is so good!!
I called my granny crying, stressing, begging for advice and she told me to pray and remember what she already taught me. My tears lead me to this song!!!
I just like how the crowd is rocking. Church music doesn't have to be boring. This the type of music that kept me engaged in church. Up beat and Great Singing.
I was going to play this song today & changed my mind. Then went on social media & saw 3 ppl using the song for their back ground . I clearly needed to hear this message! Every time I play this song Me & GOD START TALKING BECAUSE I START CRYING 🤣🙏🏾 BECAUSE IM FULLY AWARE !!
There was NOTHING like black churches in the '90s. I'm glad TikTok is bringing the younger generations to songs and things like this. The Pace Sisters are LEGENDARY and I love to see people showing them the respect they deserve. I hope Duranice is resting in power and peace ❤️ ETA: May LaShun Pace rest in power and peace ❤️❤️❤️
That’s where those ladies got their singing voices from!! Mama Pace!!! Man I grew up in this era!!! Those sisters can sing their behinds off!!! Truly anointed!!! Rest In Peace Lashun, Duranice, and Mama Pace.
Your observation is fascinating, because that’s actually the exact part where the viral Tik-Tok sound was taken at (Leslie’s solo). The soft, elegant, fade in and then it crescendo’s. Perfection. Salute to the very first person who came up with the idea to capture the sound.
It not the religion we People that follow Jesus are in, it’s a true relationship with Jesus, the love that he has for all of us is so indescribable it gives me so much joy and peace, my life was going down the drain before I had a true relationship with Jesus, we all have trials but Just knowing the love that Jesus has for us is incredible.
@@aliyah_faith2109 agreeing with what u said: I think gospel is liked globally because the singer's beliefs are so strong and they have a deep spiritual connection with that deity so when it's expressed through singing other ppl really feel that. I really like gospel music because it's so soulful and u can just tell these ppl really put everything into their performances, like I don't share the same religious values and beliefs but I can appreciate a great vocal performance regardless of religion.
4:17' 4:21 it LaShun Pace taking the microphone from Leslie like,"girl i cant take you nowhere " for me 🤣🤣🤣 dont get leslie the praising god baby! It gets serious 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Karen Clark Sheard is a force to be reckoned with.... but LaShun Pace, my God. The way her voice effortlessly cuts through the air and gets where it needs to be. Unearthly. Rest In Peace Ms. Pace-Rhodes!
My house was shot at today with me and my kids inside. The people was not after us but my neighbor. A bullet went through my window and could have shot me in the head. Im alive no one was hurt it's not our time and I thank god. Act like you know!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!! You are awesome you are almighty!!!!!!!!!!
Change your thinking god doesent control everyone’s deaths, “it wasn’t my time” nobody has a set of specific time when u die u die it is tragic and unfortunate god doesent take people! GOD IS LOVE !
This song is on 🔥. Love it!! My favorite part is, "He'll never never, never leave me" "He'll never, never, never forsake me" This song is soo Powerful!! Praise God, love it!!
2024. But God. I heard this song on Facebook. Advertisement for glasses but it was really praising the Lord. She used her platform. Someone found Christ in the process.
My grandmother passed 3/25/22 and In my grief I could hear her say "Don't worry about me, Act like you know"..and I was led to this song. Been on repeat everyday since. It really has blessed me in my time of mourning her and my mother. I thank God for his love and "never leaving nor forsaking me." Rest in Heavenly peace Mama and Grandma White. I'm gone act like I know, Thanks be to God 🙏🏾👑❤💙🕊🕊
Trust me Churches like this are over. So much ego and money grabbing ppl are there and plus the music you hear on the radio is now being heavily influenced in Gospel. Music overall sounds different in the 90s bcuz of different way of thinking, no cell/social media influences, etc… I grew up in a church similar to this video full of black Caribbean’s, and my younger self loved the spirit and vibes that was happening as I got older a lot of ppl left, old ppl died, & gospel music changed to cater the new younger crowd, and don’t get me started on inappropriate behavior in the churches …. It’s just not the same no longer holy.
🕊🕊 they definitely made history with their angelic voices. RIP Duranice & LaShun hope they both are dueting in heaven's choir❤❤🙏🏽 absolutely love this song.
The way Leslie went up there & tore that mic up ! It don't make no sense 🥰🤣 she definitely understood the assignment. Even lashaun had to tap her on the back. Great job
These women have/had anointed vocal chords! I get chills when they sing. They sound so similar and still distinct. Anointed Pace Family! Karen did her thang too.
This really makes me miss the 90s. No social media crap, just people with true happiness and having fun. Edit: a lot of you need to shut tf up 🤣 Obviously the 90s weren’t a good time for us but I ain’t talking about that part. Let’s stay positive and remember the good times that helped us get through it all.
