Another fan I picked up during cleanup week. Pretty much brand new, but I find something that I have never encountered with a fan before. Enjoy!

These are pretty good, saw one at home depot cooling of the employees during their lunch break and felt a strong stream of air from a while away

I have the Cyclone in the loft, blowing gale force winds into the ceiling area. It actually cools the living room/dining area slightly.

I had never seen this happened to modern fan before its the first fan that happened.

Reverse the stator and it will work normally

@@sethhorst6158 if you switch the hot and neutral wire around all it will do is change rotation of fan motor to the correct way and it will be safe. It would be like factory intended it to be

Lol could the fan blades be on backwards by any chance? I have no handywork expierence but that seems like a blade problem.

The blade physically can't be put on backwards with the sleeve for the shaft only having an opening on one side and the other being the closed off center of the hub.

@@sethhorst6158 could you disconnect it and have that front -facing nd reconnect it, or is that so much work that it's more worth it to buy a new fan?

This is not surprising. I have the cyclone fan, and it rachets very loudly. My neighbors downstairs complained about the noise. The next problem is opening up the fan, to clean it. Lasko made such a high tech fan, forgetting to make it user friendly, for cleaning. The only and best feature is the amazing wind force.
