Lassie is mistaken for champion showdog King's Royal Lassie while she and Timmy and Cully visit the Capital City Dog Show. Timmy and Cully are thus given the royal treatment with free hotel and food, but they think it is because everyone likes Lassie, and have no idea the show officials have mistaken her for a identical collie that is a champion.
