A lot of people are giving suggestions and gyaans without actually running a Retail shop ever. It's a different ballgame on the ground boy ! Location change means higher rent. Grocery is a narrow margin business. And he has low working capital. It's commendable, what he has been doing on a limited scale.

My suggestion for you to change loacation and give free home delivery if customers purchase items at your shop within 1 hrs or 30 mins

Please change the location. Average sales should be around 1 lakh if you choose good loacation near vegetable mrket or fruit market. Or any market corner point
