It has been more than a half century since trolleys were a common sight traversing the brick lined streets of Pittsburgh.
Ride along with us as we show you a treasure trove of historic photos, 8mm film reels and other artifacts. We hear from the everyday people who rode the trolleys, a 102-year-old who worked on the trolleys, actor David Newell who played Mr. McFeely on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and a rare audio recording of Fred Rogers himself, discussing the transportation revolution that turned Western Pennsylvanians into Pittsburghers. Sit back and relax as we transport you back in time to the the magical era of trolleys.
