I could of sworn dj law was going to nfl when I first watched . Dude was a truly skilled running back that just didn’t take the student part serious . Student first athlete second y’all boys remember that💯❤️

They had more team bonding then any other season.

I started backwards and started with Laney and have worked my way back. I honestly love they are finally filming and showing what these young men go through to try and get a scholarship. I was once one of these young men as well and know to well what the BUSINESS side of football can do to a young man in his early 20s

As a sports photographer I was on the sideline with a lot of these guys. Can't believe how overrated John Franklin was. I personally know Wyatt Roberts and his family, and covered Wyatt in high school & EMCC, and you are right, he was terribly underrated. Wyatt graduated as the salutatorian of his high school class, and led his football team to a 16-0 record and their ninth state championship. Wyatt's biggest drawback was his height; he was very athletic and played very smart football. That's the reason Franklin could not beat him out.

I went to EMCC over 20 years ago when Tom Goode was the head coach. I'm amazed at how that school has grown. Back then if you wanted some action we would drive all the way to West point and party at the Crossroads or Club Simeron, Chocolate City in Columbus and a few other "hole in the walls".
