It is, but only a little bit! Inside I have replaced the foam sheet with wood, it helps make the drum more ridged. The bounce you're talking about is just a matter of how I drum though 😅 it would look the same even if it wasn't modded

@@Kev2o2 thanks for the reply. I have so much to learn. Just gotten into taiko few days ago and bought the switch tatacon. Not sure if I should mod it

@@TrinityScorpion keep using it and don't be afraid to hit hard. The more you use it in the beginning, it will become slightly more sensitive. If after a couple weeks, you're still not happy with the drum, then yeah look into mods

@@Kev2o2 Oh how nice of you to take the time to actually look that up! I saw that Namco didnt have theirs on stock anymore and the playasia one as well but I never ordered from them, so I had my doubts about it. If you recommend them, I'll order from them. I replaced the foam inside for a piece of wood, helps with rigidity, doesn't really make it more sensitive. That's all I've done to it.

I have a piece of wood inside to help with the rigidity of the surface, but otherwise, it's not anymore sensitive than a normal tatacon. Just keep playing, you will start to break in the sensors and they'll respond better.

Add a second player with an extra controller, once you select the song, turn off character abilities in the co-op / battle menu. It's the only way.
