Hey Joelle. Idk if you remember me, I’ve been watching your videos since sophomore year and I’ve only recently started to leave comments under your videos (should’ve started earlier). Yesterday I got a deferral from Dartmouth (yep) I’m a bit disappointed but generally speaking I think it is a blessing, and it motivates me to move forward with my rd apps (and continue pursuing Dartmouth). Thank you and all other Dartmouth you tubers that I follow for making me feel so close to my dream and thus encouraging me to work hard towards that dream in my high school years. Literally cannot thank you enough, you’re my favorite RU-vidr because I love you content, your personality and your smile. I’m definitely going to keep following you and I wish you all the best with life after Graduation! Love, Payson

Hey there! Yes, I remember your previous comments! I'm so sorry to hear the news, but it sounds like you're totally taking the positive high road with it, which I'm super glad to hear. It's super hard when things don't go as planned, but definitely just trust that with colleges, things work out in the end and there's a world of possibilities out there. Plus, not everything is always as great as it seems. I try to highlight positive things because I like to look back on every part of life fondly, but that doesn't mean that there aren't tons of messed up parts of Dartmouth that I wish I could change. However, I think it's great you're continuing to work towards your goals and I hope all the best with the rest of the college app process! It'll be amazing!
