In this video we ended up doing the last of the corn in the same field that we did last year (2019). Last year it snowed and this year it was sunny and dry.

We’re allowed four plants here in Ontario legally. I figured you would see a lot of it when you’re chopping corn. I don’t know your laws in New York but I know some states take it very seriously. Cheers 🇨🇦

Herein canada you can have 4 plants per person over the age Of 19 I be leave.I take the oil before bed for my PTSD stops the bad Dream and never wake up tired .Sleep like a log. Made it legal about 4 years ago I think .Never part took as a kid and don't grow .But it's big business

Well you made it through this year without needing a rear axle on the chopper. 😜 Congrats on making through corn chopping with no major break downs or accidents or having to shovel snow off the chopper. 🎉🎉🎉 I have always liked your sense of humor, and you again show it with the visit to the neighbors crop. I wonder if you made him paranoid by having a drone fly near is crop? I am looking forward to the combining ones. Have you moisture tested any corn yet for high moisture corn, if so what is it running? Thank you for today's video.

That's got to be the hardest part of chopping, the first initial opening. Seems like it be best to either have a 12 row header or have the semi always go first through but, you make do with what you got available. You almost need one of those vibro-roller to help compact the silage in the pits. Would save you a tractor or 2 but, then, again, the cost of one? Great video as always. Cheers :)

I had my lads working and driving young but I think you ask a lot of a kid as young as yours that hill was steep and that harvester is expensive

Farming Fixing & Fabricating I have no doubt that he is well capable of doing it all I am saying is that it is a lot of pressure to put on a small boy , I am not being critical it's just that I know from experience that when you have a kid that can do a job and is able to do it you are very likely to let them at it but sometimes I wish I had been a bit wiser and just giving them simple jobs without the pressure, raking,rolling, harrowing you know what I mean stuff that doesn't involve keeping up to experienced operators, the chisel ploughing is exactly what I mean for a young lad to crack on at . My second lad was driving a class self propelled harvester at eleven picking up 100 acres a day, his older brother was mowing and his younger brother was raking they worked hard that summer and all loved it but I can't help feeling a bit guilty for getting them to do it. My brothers and I were growing and needed labour The kids grew up bought out their uncles and work bloody hard, they are all workaholics and all divorced and I can't help wondering if I may have some responsibility for the way things have gone.

I'm amazed one of the manufacturers hasn't created a automated load arm to truck system. How much silage is going over the side? I bet it adds up over thousands of acres. But looking at the storage bunkers you have plenty lmao.

Class and JD have a system for the spout to follow the trucks and wagons. Don't know if others do or not. Class was a 3,000 dollar option that we didn't feel we needed, so didn't purchase.

It is NEVER a good idea to blow out an air filter. All your doing is blowing holes in it. Yes the john deere dealer sells those air filter cleaning wands, but it just helps them sell engine kits. Just because a filter looks dirty doesn't mean it's stopped up. Only go by a restriction indicator. When it says it's restricted. Buy a new filter. Filters are much cheaper than a new engine.

In a normal environment you don’t have to blow out air cleaners. We are in an extreme environment and it’s common practice to blow out an air filter. The manufacture only tells you to replace the element assuming that you don’t know any better. Your lawn mower or your car for example needs to have the filter replaced instead of serviced because it will rot out before in ever gets plugged.

The latest study says tomatoes are not good for inflammation, but there's some other Botanicals in the nightshade family that are pretty helpful.€:oD)

One of the first jobs I did that made me feel like a grown up was hauling silage. ...beside a farmhand 3 row cutter and a Detroit diesel with a c60 chev. ...still got the cutter and loved every minute

Andrew as well as you are doing it is great to see you and all of the young men and women making a solid and I mean solid contrabution to the operaton of this major size farm. I think we and you need to start suggesting that you are to the point where you are ready to step up to make a larger contrabution. So lets you and I start on your Dad for a bigger size chop wagon. I know I've seen some of the specialized chopping outfits with some pretty sharp working and looking chopping carts. So lets keep reminding your Dad over the off season that you need a bigger wagon. How about it? Does that sound like a plan?

In NJ there are licensed growers of medical m. Only ones I had seen were greenhouse grown. Big $$$ operators. Andy, remember the story you were telling about the city boys swiping your feed corn and stashing it away into the trunk. Same old, same old ??

You cover the plants in late afternoon to make the time that they get sun light shorter to drive them to bud harder. And you can start them to bud earlier in the year so they will finish out early fall
