I loved the way you took your time and explained everything. You made sure that we could see where you were pointing especially when it came to the panel buttons. You're a great demonstrator. Now, I'm not so afraid to use it. I understood the con area's. You're absolutely correct correct. I hope the manufacturer corrects those deficiencies. Thank you sir!!

I agree with him on the side shoot. But the bagger doesn’t move and it does cut good. I really like it

Good heads up on this and great overview, I was considering this model but for $950 its expensive and should have a better charger and saw your video. I went with an Ego XP and just did the first cleanup mow. It worked great pulling up dead leaves and grass after the winter with the high lift blade after raking. Hopefully you got your money back

Thx for this really useful review! I live on a homestead (in CA) and am trying to find a supplemental mower to our now aging 12.5hp DR field mower. Can't cough up the $5K for the DR battery field mower..., so have been trying to find something that can deal with the area around the house and immediate grounds, that can handle a little rough terrain, etc. It doesn't have to do any field work..., just really rural stuff around the house. Thought the Husky was a contender..., but really need that side discharge to work...

Fair enough on the chute (more dangerous and leaves a messy lawn), so I literally never use side discharge. I either mulch or bag.

I agree. For that kind of money, you should not have to "jury rig" anything. The only thing I can think of is that the side shute was not tested on extreme high grass, more than 1+', which is when a more powerful riding mower comes in. I suspect that after getting the height down you can easily mulch from here on out. Still, that needs to be a next generation fix. On the plus side, Huskvarna also has the highest height adjustments at 4.5" and one of the lower db noise ratings, approx 70 db at the operator position, and kept the steel deck, but is now 15 lbs lighter than its prior gas version.

I hope they see this video and do something to fix the chute issue on a future revision. Short term, we still may pick this one up and "fix" the issue ourselves because it seems they got everything else right.

That discharge chute looks exactly like the one on my gas Husqvarna LC221ah. Ive never had a problem with it falling off

Hi JB , I just purchased this mower a few days ago. I have not used it yet but I love how it looks and the control panel is the best I’ve seen. It’s too bad about the rear shoot not staying in place. I wonder it you put Velcro around the shoot if that would work. I’m going to always use the bagging when I mowing. How did it cut the grass was it nice and even?

I wonder if a different bag would work. I have an older husqvarna that I’m replacing with this model.

What crazy is that pretty soon you will need to have software update on lawn mower and if the processor is not powerful enough you are out of luck maybe even subscriptions or cloud back ups

What did you end up going with to replace this? I didn't realize this mower existed until I saw it at Lowes one day while looking to get an EGO. This seems like one of the most well thought out machines out there, but I'm hesitating to get it because it's so new and unknown in the world of electric mowers.

This machine has power but the wheels are plastic so they just spin ruin your grass when you press down to get traction the front end lifts up so now you're just pulling wheelies. You can pick your walking speed but as soon as you let go of it it stops so quick that you bounce against the handle and changes your walking speed to maximum then when you engage it,it takes off on you and pulls a wheelie again. looks good but bad design. Where are the controls are is bad placement constantly changing speeds on your disengaging turning off the blade it's just one problem after another
