The end of another era in American Railroading the road railer was the in between transportation of trailers before it is the trailer on flat car and then after it was the shipment of intermodal containerization there was a time that we had three road railer train services the swift Road railer train once operated on Burlington Northern Santa Fe from Portland Oregon to Los Angeles California this train was discontinued in 2008 and during the twilight years of Amtrak shipping mail some mail was hauled by road railer trailers on Amtrak every time I see a swift semi on the highway I always look back to when the swift railer train once operated and before the late 2010s Triple Crown once had a small facility in Fort Worth Texas located at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe yard Located at the loop 820 overpass whenever I was on my way to the Fort Worth stockyard historical district I would occasionally see triple Crown road railer trailers in that facility now it is used for storage by BNSF

Nice view of the Hannibal Bridge with it's lower traffic density it probably is the least shot Crossing of the Mississippi made especially nice with the.NKP unit. The meeting place probably couldn't have been more desolate what you got the historical shot and that's what counts
