I think the problem still remains with the flagship killer approach-cramming as much hardware (even if past gen) into a box and selling it at a competitive price. Yes, I'm calling it a problem because what's the point of all that hardware if it doesn't all work in unison for a polished user experience? Wouldn't it be better if they went with a slightly inferior SoC (a 2 year old flagship 8+gen1 or an upper-mid-range SoC like 7+gen2 would do too), but then spend a bit more resources in tuning things like the camera and software? I feel like, from a compute stand point, we've already reached really good amount of brute power even at mid-range level (a 7+gen2, DDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 is already an excellent start). Any brand willing to work on improving the other aspects of their phones with such a base hardware would really have an edge over the others.
I don't have a issue with the lack of transparency for software support as there hasn't any major security flaw or updates when compared Android 14 vs Android 15. Android 15 may eventually arrive to this phone as there are other phone which are eligible for Android 15 with the same processor. If there is a major update for Android, then the SD processor may also be special release because "everything is A.I."

Yes same i bought s23 at 45k in summer sale last year flagship with all good features and camera only con is batter is decent at best its better value than iphone 14 or 15 compare to iphone 15 will get at 65k
It's pretty much late.. Already iqoo neo 9 pro exists in India ... We will soon get 8 gen 3 also by end of this year under 40k.. So no thanks to this phone

How can someone deal with that for 5 years? Their CEO had major dispute with them, they pulled the plug on their sub brand dizo, huge red flag company.
