Its possible to me.... I just wish I was lucky enough to see him slide in and out character regularly. That I think, would be interesting to say the least to observe. The mannerisms, the postures etc etc. We'd see just how closely related they are as two people. We'd see the level of creativity that went into joker as an art piece. Even see how much joker energy Heath had within before, during and after. He did such a damn good job. :/ Rest in peace.
He died at the age of 28. He was still in his 20’s. Imagine that. Feels like he was 40 when he died with the amount of work and outstanding performances he delivered.
Yeah and you know what's crazy is he was even younger in brokeback mountain, and played a very convincing aged version of his character. I do think heath seemed like an old soul maybe
It’s so sad that he died, I feel so cheated in life knowing that he died and not having the chance to accept his Oscar. Life sometimes is so cruel, wish he was still here 😓
@AbsoluteAlpha People love to make up stories like how the role killed him and made him crazy...It didn't. He loved the role and was extremely excited to show people his work...Outside of shooting he was a completely normal, happy, and great guy (according to everyone he knew). If anything the reason he would seem off is because he had a big issue with the paparazzi and always being in the limelight.
@AbsoluteAlpha Possibly, I think he definitely had an idea of what the character would be like and maybe it was a reflection of some part of him, I just don't think getting into character changed him
Such a tragedy at only 28 years of age it’s nuts. He’s so calm in this but also seems jittery and distant, he literally screams of anxiety to me. What a loss & such a talent.
I was in rehab when he passed. Hit me hard in the mind and heart. The documentary "I Am Heath Ledger" really shows how real and down to earth he was. He cared about people. Never forget him
WakeupNeo he had movies like the tree of life(he was offered this role a month before his death and he turned it down would have been amazing if he lived and accepted this role) and mad max fury road
@KingJay he started abusing sleep medication and pain killers because of the mental anguish and stress from training for the Joker role. Trying to be the best Joker he could drove him to extreme depression and he accidentally overdosed. Might have just been sleeping pills overdose not sure about painkillers though 😭 RIP Heath Ledger
I like how everyone adores Heath. Just imagine his family could be reading these heart warming comments. Just amazing, he was truly an amazing person and also how dedicated he was with the art of Acting.
@@heyitsmetrousers4399 This interviewer is so trash bro its like every sentence is uh uh uh dub dub uh like stop stuttering. He was asking stupid questions
If heath was still alive , he could have got roles in inception , interstellar , the dark knight rises , tenet , and dunkirk Probably he will be nolan's fav actor just like micheal caine 😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️
Personally I think it's disgusting how Americans Took an Australian soldier battlefield story Dunkirk that had nothing to do with Americans you Guys weren't there an made it American look it up if you want it's disgusting!! Shame on the film maker it's so dishonourable 🤮
I miss Heath so much 😢😢😢 he was one a kind actor and he love acting and also watching himself on the set he was a director and we miss one hell of director as an actor. Gone but not forgotten 😢😢😢
He looked so serious, stressed, and tired. He hid his depression very seriously. No happy emotions left to show. RIP. Maybe he felt no one cared about his real image inside and out than the makeup.
Mr.a It wasn’t suicide it wasn’t drug overdose It’s because he took two different medications which shouldn’t be taken at a time which caused harmful reaction resulting in death. Wikipedia
TAKEN FROM US TOO SOON....... WATCHED BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND WAS CRYING........ SUCH A GOOD AND HANDSOME ACTOR ............. REST IN PEACE ....
The we don't deserve him part is probably a bit too much. And all these people who got triggered by our disagreement which is obviously not a big deal, these triggered kids can go cry in the corner.
Axzein honestly, I don’t mean “we don’t deserve him“ literally. I just thought it was a thing you say on the internet, like “OMG ShE iS sO AmAzinG wE dOn‘T dEserVE HeR!“ I miss Heath and he was an incredibly talented actor and it’s absolutely sad he isn’t alive anymore, but of course I was exaggerating with this comment
I don’t care how many times it is, every time I’m absolutely incredulous as to how a guy like Heath, who is sooo calm, collective, mellow, and down to earth can portray a character soooo insane, crazy, brutal, sadistic, and dangerous like the Joker. It’s literally two different people in real life and on film. It’s also two different people: one with make-up and a crazy voice and one without. Unbelievable!!!
They may be gone physically but they left this earth with footsteps for others to try to fit in, letting everyone know that you too can make it. Rip to both ❤️🙏💯
No one even knew Heath would just die right during the production of the Dark Knight. It’s just so sad he got to see his legendary performance! RIP Heath Ledger! You were a true legend!
@@instajawnee Thank you Captain Obvious no one knew that but it was another 6 months after he died before it came out, and Ledger never got to see his legendary performance in it which is sad .. OK?
@@instajawnee "Production" refers to a lot more than just filming, dude. The movie was still being edited when he died, so it was, in fact, during the production of the movie that he died. If you really want to be pedantic (which you shouldn't), you could specify that it was post-production, but the word "production" is still used to generally cover all aspects of making a movie, INCLUDING pre- and post-production.
And while Leto played his joker in his 40s, Ledger's played the joker in his late 20's, yet his' looks older, wiser, and is bone-chillingly dark.... Leto's was just cringy as shit, and looked like a bratty millionaire on drugs... made me sick
Elliot Casson right lol. He's like got a darkness that's clearly from drugs in him. I think he got the joker role-started using to prepare for the role.. Maybe stopped when filming or continued to use harder but either way it dragged him down and dragged him into the role. And when he was done with it the drugs killed him from over doing it.
@@BarbieAllNightDance not really. He was using pharmacs to deal with fame. Of course he has a "dark side" or maybe he was savage in a bad way, but he died because of his anxiety = he couldnt sleep = pharmacs abuse :)
A but maybe he couldn’t sleep due to playing the joker, having to prepare for a movie, you have to be in the character skins to play good, it probably did affect his mental health
Natasha verdon i know but i was just saying he never did drugs and died from an accidental overdose on prescribed medicine. i wouldn’t be surprised if he took more medicine than he needed to. some people even think that he mixed unprescribed medicine with his prescribed ones to try to make them work better :/ i really wish he didn’t have to take medicine in the first place. because then he would still be alive
It's so sad to see how tired he looks here, you can see that his problem was heavily affecting him more & more. He's usually so energetic and happy and energetic in interviews and he just seems so tired and bored/not as happy. He was such a brilliant person with such a beautiful soul and it's not fair that he left us so early. I hate seeing the signs so late that he was going down a rabbit hole with his addiction.
It’s insane to think that this soft talking, Australian and humble man could be such an insanely good villain (When all love you Heath, and will never forget you!!!)
A person who changed his character, his personality within 45 days locked in a hotel for a film. Unbelievable dedication. Still miss him in 2020 and will miss him in the upcoming years.
I remember i told my sisters he is one of the best actors out there and i wish him roles that he can shine his real talent with and two weeks later his death was announced....i remember the shock. I remember and still carry the feeling of the loss. I miss this guy. I love the movies he plays in.
