I love how dedicated you both are to getting outside, and the concern for one another. It's not easy after 20 years to maintain that! Kuddos. You both continue to kill it.
Just started watching this; I’ve been watching Christine for years. I LOVE all the fitness content & how you make it work in your busy lives. I like to workout but it’s really helpful because my son is a serious soccer player & it’s helping me support him with nutrition, recovery, mindset & overall knowledge. Awesome! Thanks!! And it motivates me to challenge myself & have fun with my fitness!
Love being with you when you all go on your journeys this is something the kids will always remember. You are all so supportive and caring for each other. Kudos to you all.❤❤
omgggg 50 degrees??? Its already 88 here today, went for a walk this morning around 5 (84 outside @ 5) and later on tonight we are all going for a bike ride - (S Florida is flat) but we will be heading to NC soon to see my daughter and will be enjoying all of the trails up there. Absolutely love you and your wife and all of the videos!
Kudos to you having quality time together, in a beautiful (but very muddy) place! Even through the stomach cramps, mud splatters, and falls Christine took (with grace!), you all trucked on through! Awesome job, and inspirational!❤
This was so fun to watch! I train and ran my first 5k last month and I was inspired to do all that after listening to your podcast discussing your training schedules.
I love hearing about your nutrition! I’m starting to pack for RAGBRAI and for long cardio definitely don’t want high fats or heavy items to carry. I’ve fallen in ❤ with “That’s It” bars!!! I’m also taking oatmeal, chia seeds and protein powder in a baggie that I’ll add water to and let it soak for 30min-1hr then eat.
Good for you guys seeing that through!! Im more in the camp of 'I'd rather be quadding' lol 😂 But the thought of being able to do that without an engine is pretty inspiring! It was fun to come along, despite the conditions. Good luck on race day!! 🤞😁
This looked like a lot!!! I'm glad you guys are showing this side of workouts too. I am soo nervous for you, the race is soooo close! Where did time go, seriously!!! Let's gooo, I am rooting for ya!
My husband used to race mountain bikes when we were dating/first married. I got really into it with him and then when we got pregnant I quit. I was then pregnant for almost six years straight. Five girls and 60 added pounds later am petrified to get back into it because I don't want to get hurt. We have no family and run our own business that takes ALL of our time and we homeschool. If I got hurt it would impact our business and we have almost 40 people's livelihoods on our shoulders to carry. Our girls love mountain biking and my husband has made them a huge track through our 10 acres (which also doubles as a four wheeler and go-cart track). I might just try to go out and start there. I need to get back into shape and spend more time outdoors. Maybe when our youngest is 18 I will have the ability to get back out to courses near our house.
I have been riding my stationary bike. It's only 5 minutes but its every day. I have to start somewhere. What motivated me is losing some weight and my a1c went down some when I went to my endrocronoligist appointment. I'm going to see how well I do by mid September
