I watched Pitch Perfect and I was OBSESSED with him as Benji. Then I was watching Hamilton and I saw 'If I Could Tell Her" from Dear Evan Hansen. Now I'm screaming the songs, and watching every video with Ben Platt or Dear Evan Hansen on it.
I'm not sure if they should have given Ben Platt the Tony. I mean, isn't it unfair to include a LITERAL GOD in an award show for us mere mortals? Because there's no way Ben can be human, everything about him, his appearance, his singing, his acting, is completely perfect.

Going on a Ben Platt Binge after the Tonys and every video I watch I agree more on on the decision of giving him a Tony! I mean just listen to him, his voice is just incredible!
I think what’s even more incredible is that the Tony’s don’t take how great someone’s voice is into account. It’s an acting award. Which means that not only does Ben Platt have this incredible oaky voice, his ability to act is so great that he won a major award!
He was a lil tired you can hear it at times but he literally nailed this beyond acceptance. He knows his voice so well and does what he wants unapologetically. That takes a huge amount of guts and it’s why I love him
When you listen to the words now, 8 years later, and think about his DEH success, the Tony, Emmy, Grammy wins and his albums and sold out shows, it's like he was predicting his bright future back then... And he' s quite the opposite of "loser". He stayed humble and continues to amaze us with his voice, moves, acting and looks. 🌟

I've never seen anything Ben Platt has been in (besides Pitch Perfect) but with all his hand movements and acting in this performance I'm pretty sure he made a great Evan Hansen
I suddenly wanted to hear this cover like a year after i first found it but i could not for the life of me remember what the song was called. Thankfully google managed to interpret the jarbled lyrics i did remember
