Sacha’s backflip on grass was better than any backflip I’ve ever done. He may not be in the same form as the other guys but he goes for it and he’s still better than the average person. 🙌
That rings so true in high repetition sports like running, cycling, swimming, etc… the battle becomes all mental and it’s really a fight with yourself to keep going. I always remember distinctly saying in my races that “this is my life, to keep moving my body, I can’t stop” in my head
@@aart9763 He's got the world record for the longest front flip (or at least he did as of a year or two ago). They show a clip of him setting it in the first few minutes of the Parkour Olympics video.
@@emily_nelson longest frontflip known is Tuariki Delamere in 1974 . Around 7.7 m I could not find out why Guiness goes with Drews frontflip... I would love to see a number of parkour people do this again and refine the technique. Biomechaniks say, that if not banned in athletics the world record long jump would be well over 9m by now.
For each Storror Member there is one skill only they have. Drew's Mental, Toby's Power, Benj's Energy, Max's Dedication, Josh's Focus, Sacha's Positivity, and Callum's Bladder. These are the things that make Storror, Storror.
I had my suspicion on Drew being the top cause of his capabilities with flips (99% sure I read that he has a world record for a flip idk where though) and Toby and Josh because of their endurance - I didn't expect it to be that spread out - man did Benj have the right idea to leave early
Had a feeling Drew would win, his backflips are just so smooth. You can also hear how much less impact he has on the ground when doing them (also super interesting about the hands behind the legs to save the abs).
are you serious? you need to go to one of the spots that they use in a video and then you will realise, I have been to one in Coventry and I was honestly shocked
I don’t often see them flipping and when they do it doesn’t usually look super easy maybe because it’s at the end of a run. Like when she said she’d eat a chili if they all reach 100, I thought a few would probably drop by then. Had no idea they could do so many.
now we gonna see 2022 outtakes for months while they struggle to move from a couch great lol they should show their condition and moves next day..that would be entertaining too
Josh doesn't get that much attention because he's like shy and usually talks less, but my oh my did he nail every single bit of those backflips consistently. Big ups. The Safety team after all those years is about to get replaced. Kudos to them as well for keeping these lads out of danger for this long.
@@STORROR Actually... You know how a lot of sports have you get tired before trying, such as doing sprints or laps, so they perform better when tired? I would love to see a one-bang challenge after an exercise run (so not-fresh) with a "penalty" for missing an easy one-bang. One-bangs should be the "easy" looking ones that the armchair gallery would be able to gauge, but create a condition where you guys couldn't just do it whilst texting. If you want to add a bonus round with non-parkour such as climbing bits that Toby and Josh could teach the crew, or lifting, etc... So much the better. While its possible fun, I would want to see this because it would put parkour in its proper perspective for me in the armchair gallery. I don't know all the basic parkour pieces except those taught to Pete Wittaker. I don't know the names, and I don't know how hard the precision really needs body energy, much less mental energy. You guys practice in the stratosphere, so its hard to get that perspective and have it not be boring for you guys. This might link in the undereducated like myself as well as be some fun back-to-basics training session. Consider also keeping a "score" and having people compete to win a subscriber some gear :D on a 1st place through 7th place prize list if you want to make it more interesting. I'm 204cm so I doubt you have a shirt my length though.
@@STORROR yes - do a video with Nile Wilson. There's a lot of crossover but I would LOVE to see Nile sticking precisions and Storror doing floor routines. Immense collab
you guys really grow on people. just nice seeing you interact with each other. hard to find (a group of) friends like that out in this world. also insane work with the backflips. wouldnt have guessed more than a hundred either. impressive.
@@STORROR I kind of waited for a "The next morning" endcard where you all are absolutely fucked. Would have been a fun reversal of winners/loosers of the challenge :D
Great content as usual lads! Shout out to Nico Scheicher who has the world record for doing 1001 backflips in 9 hours, thats a backflip roughly every 30 seconds for 9 hours straight, mental.. i imagine he didnt move very far for a few weeks after 😂
Thanks for mentioning that. I was just about to google the world record. I was convinced these guys were beating some kind of record. That Nico must have an ironing board for a stomach.
sending love to Sacha. that man never stops trying. i was injured at birth, my hip hurts almost constantly, and i don't usually do sports. however Sacha inspires me so much, he's a walking reminder that it's fine as long as you try, as long as you keep trying and don't lose tha spark in your eyes. idk why i emotional but i think i'll go for a long walk tomorrow or smth to work on my bad leg
Its so true. I've had a spinal condition my whole life and could only dream of something like parkour. To have part of it taken away but refusing to bow out is another level.
Yeah do it. I have a progressive genetic disorder but I skated for 30 years before I had to stop. In the last year I've started again just on a couple of days a month when I've got the strength and energy. I have to use a walking stick as an assist for my pushing leg, but it's still better than not skating. Not so good for my physical health, but it does wonders for my mental health! Never too old, never too broken. And when I end up in a wheelchair I'll ride the wheels off that too. Living life to the fullest is all about mindset, nothing gonna keep me from bombing hills!
It would mean a lot if anyone was to watch my latest upload, I'm on the grind uploading mondays and editing the whole week. Please consider subbing love you❤❤
That was really impressive. Your guys' endurance is insane. I can't even standing backflip. To think of if I learned to backflip, how long I would have to train to even approach 100 in 100 minutes hurts my brain. I also feel like you may have accidentally conditioned yourselves. You'll been in a store, just shopping, and a beep like that will go off, and you'll find yourself backflipping and not meaning to 😂
Again Storror how did you possibly come up with this setup ???!!! Genius and such a fun execution !!!!! Thanks for going above and beyond as always to produce amazing content !!
i thought Drew aswell. but my thinking was the brothers dont really have the stamina for these challenges, Toby and Josh are both taller and have a lot more mass to flip each time so didn't think they would get as far as they did, and Cal has a lot of muscle mass compared to the rest so he has a bit more weight to jump each time aswell. where drew has the most Average proportions and has great stamina.
How did this not get to a million?! You guys should do the one chip challenge anyways. You’ll be MUCH more motivated to keep going. That chip is rough.
Congrats Drew! I would've loved to see a video with the second and third day after this challenge. Also...i wonder how was the experience when you took a shit after that ghost chilli lol Great video guys!
What I like about you guys is as strong as Toby is at pretty much everything you all have your own niches/specialities. Great to see drew win this tbh.
Geeeeeez over 5 freaking hours?! ABS cramps, teary eyes, saliva all over the place, that's what joiners love! 🌶️ timestamps to enjoy lads in pain again: 10:43 Sash 🌶️ 11:47 Benj 🌶️ 18:07 Max 🌶️ 21:25 Callum 🌶️ 25:02 Toby 🌶️ 27:50 Josh 🌶️ Congrats Drew! The G.O.A.T *Hey, Callum, not this kind of goat*
Yall should do something like this once a month, and every month is a different thing. Then record it, and next year, same month, do the test again to see how much yall improved.
