It is the knockout round boys and girls. I need to finish in the top 8 to make it to championship day. This place is so tough because for such a big lake it fishes small. There will be a lot of guys camped out on spots so I will need to pick my starting spot wisely. Should be a good day.

When you catch enough biggins you can QUICKLY toss back a 7.4. Though i guess with a hundred k or whatever the purse it could be motivational. ;)

I would love to fish with DC he is an Absolute Blast to watch, kicks and stomps rods like a 4 year old in his toy box and always has something positive to say even when he's getting kicked in the gut by other competitors. Not to mention that Monster bull whip hook set.........That bass is saying *"Oh My God!! What the Hell was that???*

Believe it or not those are bugs from running down the lake. Little things were everywhere. My cameraman cleaned everything at the launch but I hit a few on the way to my first spot.

Curious DC, been watching for a couple Weeks now, did someone teach you the mechanics or techniques of fishing you use today? I’ve fished all my life but more self taught. Step dad was a big bass fisherman but the technique you use obviously produces more bites/catches. That 7lb 4oz was a SLOB!

My older brother got me into fishing and I have been eat up with it ever sense. Most everything was self taught by constant repetition and trial and error. I also pick up different stuff from peers.

It's weird at the start of period one you can travel to your spot but after that you have to wait until lines in on period 2 to move and go to another spot. Not sure why you're not allowed to travel to your spot while lines are out it's not as if you can catch fish anyway
