That's just a myth. What kind of reading can he get by just simply touching hands? The other guy (Georgi in this case) is not even squeezing hard or anything, just laying his hand there... The thing is Devon touches their hands and lets the opponents know that the just found a weakness in their hand. It just Devon trying to mess the other guys up, trying to get into their heads. Devon is a genius at that, really.
@@Yes_I_c4n The "reading" you get is that instant feeling... The first time you grip up with someone you can sometimes just know you have him..just by the feeling of the grip. And sometimes the grip feels uncomfortable cus we all have diff hands. Im sure this is the feeling Devon is always looking for. If you get that easy-day-feeling ....it helps alot mentally

This is the thing about Devon, he is introducing all of us fans in the west to all the guys in the east. Win or lose, it makes you more famous to pull Devon. So it is a win-win. IMHO.

I’m a Devon fan but I always wanna tell these guys don’t listen to him. He’s putting shit in your head. He keeps mentioning strap so Georgi is expecting and accepting strap already before he even goes up there. Then Devon calls him so small. It’s all psychology. And even if it doesn’t really work on everyone, Devon still thinks it’s working to some degree and that still helps Devon. So I wouldn’t even engage. Throw Devon off. Stay away from him. Don’t participate in his shenanigans.
people respect Devon too much, they need to know that all of these pre fight tactics are all aimed at getting in their head and making them feel like they already lost before the fight begins. Devon also preys on these guys as English is their second language and they cannot comprehend the amount of sarcasm Devon is constantly using to mess with them. Devon needs to go up against someone who is as smart as him and knows English as their first language... the problem is that there is no one like that at his level currently...
