Good job Quan! Eat them greens! My son is 13 and is so picky. He hates all vegetables, cheese, bread, pizza, all condiments (except ketchup), mac and cheese, basically anything that most kids like he hates. I struggle to feed this boy. He is so sensitive to smells, I tell him he's like a pregnant woman lol. I keep thinking he will grow out of it, or maybe he will start dating a foodie one day to help him explore food. Its really sweet that Quan is trying to eat healthier, having kids changes you.

I love that you’re choosing to make yourself healthy. Try a fresher place for juices and smoothies or if smoothie king ask for fresh fruit and coconut water to make it even healthier, it won’t be as good because the regular smoothies all contain sugar.

Please watch your sugar intake & ingredients with Smoothie king smoothies. It’s cool from time to time but I recommend those organic juice bars or buying a really good juicer to make drinks at home. The difference is crazy. This is coming from someone still transitioning to healthy eating. But my go to veggies (easier to eat 😂) spinach, arugula, cabbage, riced cauliflower. basil leaves cooked within rice or Basil chicken within a broth is 🔥!!! Honestly it’s all about seasoning and pairing. Bed of spinach (with olive oil, sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, sprinkle salt and pepper), with steak or baked chicken and sliced baked potatoes. The key is having a plate filled more with veggies then add smaller portions of the meat of choice etc. If you’ve never tried Vietnamese food, you have to! It’s all whole ingredients, flavorful, have healthy options, it’s like food for the soul and mind! Look for 4 stars and up restaurants and with the word “Pho” in the name, but as long as it’s 4stars and up it’s fine. Oooh maybe you guys can take a “healthy eating” cooking class together and share your experience with us. That way you learn some cool ways to dress up veggies.

Make sure when getting smoothies from places like that they’re whole fruit and there’s no concentrates! That defeats the purpose and has a lot of sugar. It’s usually best to customize your own with whole fruit.
