PLEASE READ THIS ‼️ Hi Guys, I’m gonna clear up some things that have been raised in the comments section after I uploaded this video: 1) “Sympathy for franchise” (MK Dons): Most importantly, I want to make it abundantly clear that I support the cause of AFC Wimbledon and its fans base, I think what happened to their original club was awful and should never happen again to any football club. However no matter how strongly I feel about MK Dons and their controversial presence in the EFL, I want to be as neutral as possible in the vlogs I make and this video is no different. That is what I set out to do when I started making vlogs 4 years ago and that is what I will continue to do going forward. 2) Referring to the fixture as “The Dons Derby”: Of course I know this meeting isn’t a conventional derby, Wimbleodn of course isn’t next door to Milton Keynes, I searched up what the fixture between AFC Wimbledon and MK Dons is known as, and I was told that it is referred to as the “Dons Derby”, therefore I referred to it as such, this isn’t in any way shape or form me referring to MK Dons as “the real dons” or even on the same level as AFC Wimbledon, it’s just the phrase I’m using to refer to the fixture between the two sides. I respect you stay neutral but I will say it's good to see you being real, you have time for Wimbledon and it shows. Most football fans hate what happened to Wimbledon, and it showed in the support AFC Wimbledon got from most other clubs across the UK over the weekend.

When a billionaire thinks he can treat the corpse of a dead club like his personal plaything to bring foot traffic to his shopping centre, there’s no neutrality. You either recognize the true Dons or the MkDonald’s franchise. The best way to ensure this never happens again is to force the Franchise to drop the “Dons” from their name and force the FA to kick them out of the league. MK can have a spot in the league when they have *earned* it, like Wimbledon did, twice

QPR fan here. I used to go to Plough Lane in the 80s between QPR games and saw Wimbledon rise from 4th to 1st Division and was at Spurs for the FA Cup semi. Crazy Gang times. I still have my junior Wimbledon supporters card. I sponsored Alan Cork 10 pence a goal, I think, and he scored 50! On my list of things to do to go back to the new stadium. AFC Wimbledon are an inspiration to all of football. Surprised to hear you call it the Dons Derby as they ain't no Dons. Why they keep that title is a mystery to me.
That’s an incredible story, I always love to hear from older fans and hear about what their experiences were of teams and all that, you should definitely get down and watch a game at Plough Lane when you’re able too, the atmosphere is normally excellent on any match day, not just this one. However as I’m a football content creator and I create content for all fans, I don’t want to appear to in favour of a specific team (no matter how much I disagree with the other club being legitimate), I do apologise for causing offence however I wan to appear as neutral as possible in my videos, thanks again for watching 😄

To address your comment, I only called it the “Dons Derby” because the Wikipedia referred to the fixture between the two clubs as such, and in terms of sympathy, it’s a difficult one for me. First of all to clear everything up, I have my opinions on the whole situation that happened between the original Wimbledon and moving to MK, and I can assure you, I have endless amount of support for AFC Wimbledon and their fan base, I think it was awful what happened to them. However as I create football content and being a neutral(ish) content creator, I dont want to appear too in favour of a club that is playing (no matter how much I disagree with the other club being legitimate). I hope you understand where I’m coming from, I do apologies for causing offence however I want to create content for everyone no matter who the viewer supports. Thanks again for watching 😄👍

I know the history mate, and the “other clubs” name is MK “Dons”, and their nickname is “The Dons”, AFC Wimbledons nickname is “The Dons”, therefore the fixture is referred to as “the Dons Derby”, I’m not the only one who calls it this, I didn’t invent the name yesterday 😂

Great video but you need to drop term “derby”. The fact that the franchise have Dons in their name is contentious and people like yourself saying it, is extremely disappointing. M K must drop that title dons. The clue is in the name … WimbleDON
Thanks so much for watching, I’ve gone into detail about the term “Dons Derby” and my opinion on MK in my pinned comment above so feel free to give that a read, and I do completely agree, I think MK should drop the “Dons” part of their name, they decided to rebrand to a new club so therefore they should remove the reference to Wimbledon in their name. I was hoping to see what went on in the warm-up, but I see the afc players showed their class at the end anyway 😂 I respect your attitude to this game, and that you want to go some way to taking some of the heat out of it, but sadly it seems there are still some who won't have it and need to carry on hating.
I unfortunately didn’t get the warmups on record, but I did see the AFC player take a shot that went “a bit over the bar” 😂😂😂. To be fair to the MK fans, a lot of the fan base (like my son and his mates who go regularly) are a very young age. Most of them weren't even born when the relocation occurred. They're just young lads supporting their local team and aren't bothered one bit about what happened in the past...
Yeh I can understand that, and I completely support the lads who go and support MK if it’s their local, it’s better than them support a big club who they may never go and watch.
