When you're at one location and things aren't working out it's nice to have a backup plan. Well on this day we had no backup plan because we thought the original location was going to be great. As it turns out there was a real lack of signals and when there was a target most of them were trash. We had to door knock at the last minute to try and save the day and we landed on a real beauty! A 1750's stone house tucked back off the road with incredibly gracious homeowners. They not only gave us a complete tour of the inside but let us detect the yard right on the spot! Now they warned us that fill dirt was brought it in the 1940's or 50's so the old targets might be really deep but with all the activity around we were sure this place would be a winner!
