as dope as it would be, I would also be afraid that getting a "Netflix sized" budget would take away some of the charm and originality of this, if that makes sense? Like some of what I love the most about LMT is the beauty of these series and how independent and personal it is, and sometimes that charm is lost when it's being handed over and produced by a major entertainment company like Netflix? Maybe I'm completely alone in this, I don't know! I would love for them to go worldwide regardless though, I'm sure with time that'll happen!!

Erica G is right, better yet, Thursday thru Sunday (why only two days, anyway? three is more time), when there are flights and also there will be more interesting things going on wherever you are going. Especially as winter approaches, there will be fewer and fewer people around and worse weather.

As a Midwest local, I find your like reactions to a tornado warning and stuff interesting because I forget it's not normal for everyone. Also, radio dude voice, because of my relationship to it and bad storms, always like panics me when I hear it. Glad you guys were safe though.

I did a day trip to Charleston two years ago - we got there around 3:30, not realizing a lot of the town's attractions end at 5:00 or get cancelled with rain. We did a Ghost Tour too, and it was pretty fun! It's a beautiful town and I'd love to go back with more time.

Every time an episode comes out, I think it'll be the same ole same ole "small town, nothing to do" kind of thing with the same lesson at the end. And each time, I am pleasantly surprised. I think having a month or so from watching LMT makes me forget each adventure you guys have gone on. And I still have that mentality until the very end when Julien does a voiceover and says something that gives me chills and almost makes me cry. These two can make such a small place matter, it blows my mind, and I love it.

I'm from South Carolina. Raised in Columbia, vacationed in Charleston, worked in St. Matthews for 3.5 years, now living in upstate Greenville. First of all, touching the sign in St. Matthews is about all there is to do there. I mean, besides pulling over and picking someone's cotton, which y'all did. The tornadoes sucked, but ultimately did you two a favor by sending you on your way to the coast (minus the iggy meeting, those people were super nice). Charleston, especially the culinary scene, is really impressive once you get past all the one-way roads, terrible traffic and humidity. I love LMT and was a little bummed that the weather prevented you guys from seeing (or documenting, IDK which) more in and of the area. Still cool to shine a light on us down here, though. S.Car is ridiculously underrated and we'd love to have you guys back!!

Juliennnnuuuh you were in Atlanta and i didn't even know. im so sad, i live so close to Atlanta, would've been super cool to see you guys. all in all, great video. i just want to take a second to say that im soon starting college in a film and video tech class. its for a degree, although i dont quite know how ill ever afford it (im only 17) im so excited to start my life in cinematography and petty much everything film. I think that this episode is the best with episode 5 being second to bringing the full experience of what last minute trips are really about. Unlike planned trips in which you can decide on what days to go and am able to control what you're able to do much more even if the weather ends up turning bad, with last minute trips you can't do anything about it. We may not get to see the full destination in the video but the thing with last minute is that it is LAST MINUTE and you're not guaranteed to get the certain thing you want at the last moment. Instead though, they captured what last minute trips really meant and what it means is that these trips are about the journey and they may get to their destination which is their end goal or they may not because of different reasons. I guess people missed out on that concept and think that there should be a certain way to do these trips when there is no right way to do it. You improvise as you go.

I live where there are tornadoes and what you guys missed was the atmosphere color everything turns....like a green hue. And you hear no animals, and a warning means one has been spotted. Usually the wind will stop too before the storm.

Kinzie Selvidge My little town unfortunately experienced a tornado on March 2, 2012. We literally have 4 red lights, lol and 3 are 100 ft. apart. But our sirens didn't go off until after the fact. West Liberty, KY - it destroyed our little town. It went right by the hospital, down the hill, took a left at the red light and went directly down main street. It was like it took the worst path possible. But people kind of freak out now when weather tends to get bad, I'll never forget it coming through town. Me and my fiancé watched it come through and were lucky. Both of my grandmothers lived in town, and it demolished everything beside their houses and theirs were somehow left untouched. And we actually had a minor one two days before that on Leap day Feb.29th on the other end of town. Two within a couple days, and within the week - rescue efforts became difficult because we not only experienced that, excessive flooding, and snow on top of it all! It was wild.

Unless you were in the path of the May 3rd tornado in 1999 then you are forever scarred. Just google it if you have no clue they even did a National Geographic episode on it. 😱 I am so jumpy with tornado warnings ever sense.

Hummingbird I live in a small town in texas that had the biggest tornado in texas history roll thru in 1997. Jarrell Tx. Any time there's a watch I'm stressed. Im also not from texas, I grew up in cali, we don't have tornados in san diego cali lol

Hummingbird and now the largest ever recorded is in El Reno Ok it was crazy that day and you can still drive by and see the damage from that tornado

I was on the highway driving to the other side of town, in El Reno, when I watched the tornado form and touch down. It was the most insane I have ever witnessed. Then once it stopped raining and slightly cleared up, I went camping.

wut'sit2yuh huh? On the weather report? No... green is nothing on a weather map. lol and the sky wasn’t a greenish color, at least not to me. I grew up in Georgia and have waited for the bus for school in worse weather than what they had. It’s just funny to see the extent of heir freaking out. What they experienced wasn’t anything compared to what it could be. Kinda like how northerners laugh at southerns when we get a little snow.

Ashley Pina absolutely agree with you lol. I've never experienced an earthquake before but I watched some video where Jenna casually said "that was an earthquake". Sorta blew my mind lol. We have been over due for a *big* earthquake for a while now. And I am scared lol.
