Power tools are vastly unnecessary for auto mechanical work. Building houses? Different story. Something low impact for removing fasteners on undertrays is a great power tool usage, but otherwise they often fall into the hands of butchers who over torque & cross thread everything. Unless you're breaking loose a huge crank hub bolt, the average diy'er can (& should be able to) do almost everything with basic hand tools.

Just think, new tires and you have an instant 1/2" lift and will reduce your tire clearance again. lol Not hating, been there is all.

Very smart! I hardly ever go under my car and I had 3 forms of safety devices to protect me under the car. It's all good. Working on cars in general is a risk. Same with walking out the front door of your house, or even worst driving to work...
