LAST NAZI SECRET THE LAST REMAINING V2 ROCKET TEST STAND - NEVER BEFORE SEEN - AND A MONEY STORY

I was most fortunate to find and be allowed to document the last intact rocket test stand in existence. And the last and thus newest of Von Brauns testing sites. A huge site hidden away from history but for good reason, then as now it holds a history of tragedy.
But also a site where one of the last big secrets was housed deep in the tunnels excavated for fuel production. A very unexpected tail end story to this important historic site took place at the end of the war. And introduces us to a whole new host of important players in the search for THE LAST NAZI SECRET.
IF YOU KNOW WHERE THIS IS PLEASE DO NOT SHARE IN COMMENTS I MADE A PROMISE - ILL ARRANGE TOURS AT A LATER DATE IF ENOUGH PEOPLE WANT TO SEE IT SAFELY

That facility is gigantic. And from seeing these episodes. There was many similar complexes. Far bigger than i ever though. Thanx Tino for bringing this info and the enormous effort and research you do to show us this.

If they managed to develop short range nuclear capabilities using the V2 Rocket, it would have halted D-Day in its tracks and if you don't believe me they had all of the components for that to be possible. As for the money printing, you would think this was the financial base foundation for the corrupt money system which the cabal of crooks are currently running today. Thanks Tino 🙂 Another awesome video

Couldn't that "emergency exit tunnel" be just to lead the pressure from the explosion out of the complex, as to minimize damage inside? Not necessary to save people... But I do not know much in this area, just throwing this out for tought.

L Shaped bricks at about 54 mins. They look charred heated. I'm guessing they had something to do with absorbing heat in test area, to preserve the concrete. Much like they had tiles on the space shuttle. A relatively disposable item to protect the main structure

In 95, me & my friend were doing the "War Walks" of the Somme WW1. As a bonus we went to the V2 site, La Coupole in Wizernes, however the site was under construction as a museum and denied entry (it is open now). We moved on to the V2 site at Watten, Blockhaus d'Eperlecques. To all that are interested in the V projects, they are good places to start. At 14km or 9 miles apart they easily viewed together.

I was working at Santa Susanna Field Lab when I found this structure and climbed around on it noticing some strange features on it like the stairs were unusually steep and some other oddities and asked one of the old timers there, what’s the story with this steel structure? The guy said it was a V2 stand they had disassembled in Germany and shipped over here to continue the testing. Unfortunately they tore it down after the site closed in 2009.

Tino, it is so sad that of the 300 people at Peenemunde, 150 came to America and the rest to Russia. So little credit was given to the brilliant people that came to America after the war. They were hidden and kept quiet because of what happened during the war. All the war booty in aviation, rockets, munitions, engineering and research helped many countries to reach higher levels in technology though few want to admit that. I had a German friend for ten years that was a tank driver in the Panzer Tiger 1 501 Panzer group. The 501 combined into the 503 before the war ended. He was shot in the leg putting fuel in his tank by the Russians and became an American POW which saved his life. He joined as enlisted and went to Officer school rising to upper ranks in SS Totenkof in The Death Heads. He was one of the most intelligent persons I have ever known. He may have passed as the last time he returned to Germany, I didn't hear from him again. His brother was the famous music arranger Claus Overman who worked with Sinatra, Streisand, Kraul, Jobim, Bennett, so many great music arrangements. He also passed away. I have spent most of my life in electronics, aviation, automobiles and am a Navy Avionics graduate. I hold several licenses and was a Master Porsche Technician with honors in 1995. Every German Auto is a library of engineering and discipline. Dr. Porsche was involved in early aviation and automobile engineering and created the first electric car and the first hybrid car. He was also involved in design of the Tiger 1, Tiger 2 and the Mouse tank suspension and transmission designs, the Tigers were using Maybach 12 cylinder gas motors with three four barrel carburetors which got around 4-5 miles per gallon but plenty of power. Dr. Porsche also invented Synchromesh for transmissions and torsion bar suspension. I wrote a paper on the Hindenburg and Freidrichshaven which also has a museum and was a very interesting part of aviation history. The Hindenburg used exhaust gas condensators to take on water weight matched to fuel weight burned and had perfect weight and balance. They originally used Mercedes 16 cylinder and eventually switched to Maybach 16 cylinder diesel engines. The engine men used mechanical vibrating tachometers riding in the engine nacelles wearing ear muff protection from the noise. I think you should do a show on The Teutorberg Forest Massacre as it was part of German history and not something the Roman Army wanted to remember. Thank you for all the brilliant reporting, filming and movies on history all over Europe and for all military and history buffs. You deserve a large boatload of cash for all the great video and reports and maybe we can all make that happen and create a good income stream for you to keep going! We all love your work and style! How about a video on Reinhart Gehlen and the Gehlen Organization?? Bravo! By the way, there was a lot of rocket equipment at the museum at Army Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland USA that was brought over after the war, many tanks, anti aircraft guns, a German Rail Gun and other V1 and V2 goodies!

These people that you were so concerned about getting no credit upon coming to United States were war criminals hidden by the United States so they can get the technology from them.. I would think you would might be a little more concerned with the people that they tortured and put in the ovens over a bunch of Nazis..
@urbangeeze1348
@urbangeeze1348 3 года назад
The reason so little credit was given to them, is due to the fact that quite a few of them, like von Braun, were die hard Nazis, & thus, war criminals. Anyone one believes that they didn't know that slave workers were suffering & dying, while they carried on enjoying their work is an idiot. Far from being "the father" of American rocketry, Von Braun is an unpunished Nazi war criminal, due to the greed of the American government at the time for technology, the fact that he died of cancer in 1977, goes some way to make up for his criminality during the war. Of those Nazi scientists captured by the Russians, let's hope they had as terrible a time there, as those they enslaved into working for them during the war. While you wax lyrical about your Nazi friends in your comments, I notice that Not Once, do you mention the suffering & starvation of the thousands & thousands of people being worked to death, by your nazi friends, that you obviously hold in high esteem, tells me, you would have probably made a good Nazi yourself !!!!!

@@urbangeeze1348 Well put. Besides, the rocket engine training came from U.S. scientist Goddard. Germany threw money out of desperation at the Wonder Weapon / Desperation Weapon projects V2 to scare Britain out of the war because by spring of 42, Germany knew it was only card they had, and a pretty weak one because bombing England didn't work when they could. The Allies didn't allow resources to be wasted that way because they didn't need to bluff when they were playing with a full hand. They were superior to Germany in every technology that mattered to the war.

I particularly like your sensible approach to presenting facts, either known or assesed, as well as the 'known unknowns'. I have to say if not for Hitlers arrogance and hamstringing of the V2 program it is likely they could have achieved either a better payload or more likely better accuracy that may have if not changed the war, made it harder to win. I am in complete agreement with you, the area should be made safe and be available to the public, the Nazi regime was horrible, but they made great advancements that should be able to be seen. The catenary curve of those tunnels is incredible to see, I cant imagine how strong that is. LOL @40:00 if I were to hazard a guess, at least your charred corpse would be thrown out the end of the tunnel for burial later. Wiggles cables and finds a hot one, LOL. This whole scenario Tino reminds me of the secret underground facility in the “James Bond film You Only Live Twice tm” with the use of the mountains for a hideout must have come from places you have been. The British also had a whole tunnel network on the cliffs of Dover with secret bunker facilities. The allied nations wanted the technology Tino and they must have calculated how many they would allow to die for the technology? That is a question that needs answered by someone, how many were expendable for this technology like yourself to answer🧐 So Germany had the bomb made and the reason it wasn’t used was because the rocket system wasn’t just finished to carry a nuclear weapon that would have exploded over Germany wasn’t a good idea to launch? The more I look at your evidence with nuclear radiation on the ground we’re you stood before tells me the Manhattan project was real and here is the BUT. They hadn’t got a miniaturised version of it as they were so far behind German components far smaller to make the weapon be launched from a plane big enough that Germany hadn’t but American engineering overcame eventually. That the British Lancaster Bomber was big enough to carry but the Americans wouldn’t let them carry it for them, and that’s another why in the age of nuclear weapons? The Americans cut the French and British out of the shared technology of nuclear weapons and power in the early to mid 50’s. Why as allied friends did they do this?

Well, what a fantastic place you've shown us, Tino! How the hell you managed to talk your way into gaining access to it say's to me you have the gift of the silver tongue. So I hope you put it to good use for future episodes. One thing I've noticed about every single tunnel system you've been to, is that they all contain a certain amount of bricking up/disguising of previous entrances done post war. Why do you think that is? given that the machinery has been removed, (or has it), because otherwise it's just a tunnel, & spectacular as they are, one tunnel is the same as the next if it's built the same way. So what can they possibly be hiding? Regards Urban Geeze.
@tinostruckmann
@tinostruckmann 3 года назад
Well I ask nicely and offer Beer lol - most of the places bricked up was done after the war, especially to prevent people from breaking in. But those little holes in the main tunnels, I dont think they are sinister or hiding something, however I am serious as to why they are there, and will bring my snake camera next time and take a peak inside in case they show something that may reveal a need for more digging. Also it would be interesting to see where the foundations for the counter fitting machines were set up. In the back of my mind I keep thinking maybe they were those in the last tunnel, smaller one also partly bricked up.

Well I hope they sent you home with some beer and wine for the remainder of your trip. 🍺🍺🍺🍷🍷🍷🤪 An amazing place for sure. If parts of it were constructed before the war, seems like it was overkill for a brewery, maybe something else in addition? I wonder what might be hidden in the nooks behind the current walls. I think this is what Project Riese should look like, with all the concrete and brick to make it look more unified bunker-like, not like a mining tunnel.

At 1:02 in video: It is strange that in some photos Klaus Barbie is wearing a Wehrmacht Heeres uniform with an ostfront medal ribbon in his button-hole and in other photos an SD uniform or plainclothes. I think Klaus often went undercover in the German army to track down the disidents.

The test stand did not take very long to build, I have very few details but it had to be far under a year, a large Regelbauten on the Atlantic wall could be done in a matter of weeks.

@@tinostruckmann Probably... The hugest german U-Boat facility complex (Keroman, Lorient, France) took about one year to be built. Three huge bunkers hiding U-Boats... Plus, a lot of facility, defensive bunkers all around... In open air (no underground facilities, because of the narrow sea and the flat land)... It was just a matter of work force, cement, steel... Keroman has rapidly been operationnal to terrorise ships on North-Atlantic sea...

All of people do not realize how much German past and history lost when Russian and U.S trashed everything. As duel citizen, I understand resentment, most citizens followed along to government scare as do people in U.S. including many other countries fearing for their lives. Stay Gold🍻

Except they couldn't have won the war. German leaders had already calculated by spring of 1942 that Germany was going to lose if the war continued. That is the reason for the timing of the Wonder Weapon / Desperation Weapon programs getting higher priority funding. The problem with Blitzkrieg is Germany never had the trains necessary to support their military so they either had to win quick or be defeated. They were not mechanized like western armies. They were outclassed TECHNOLOGICALLY by Britain, France, and the U.S. People drove cars there and thus had the manufacturing expertise that comes with Capitalism. Not one in 50 had a car in Germany. 2,750,000 horses were used to haul their supplies and the care of the horses themselves was demanding on resources. The upside is many Germans were experts with horses. U.S. scientist Goddard schooled them on rocket engines until the U.S. cut him off from working with Germany. Hence, the Goddard Space center. The U.S. would not fund non-war-winning projects so all they wanted from Goddard were JATO units. Germany spent massive amounts to develop the design and achieved much more more power and stability. The V2 program killed more of their own people than the Allies. By the end of the war, they had the accuracy down to a 7 mile radius, and their biggest hit was a Woolworth's store on the holidays. Defending against Allied forces in Europe they were 40 miles off and hit their own people. These so-called Wonder Weapons, were Desperation Weapons and pure self-deception that to believe they could scare Britain into surrender after bombing didn't do it. The U.S. was composed of many who came there to get out of Europe's wars. After the second time in 20 years, the U.S. would accept nothing other than unconditional surrender at any cost because the U.S. planned to, and did alter the the historical personalities of Germany and Japan who caused the war. The Allies appreciated Germany's technology developments, courtesy of wasting their resources that shortened the war. The U.S. spent 1/10th as much to develop and build the first 3 atomic bombs, originally slated for Germany.

Excellent video. It really needs to be opened up as a museum. Apart from the Peenemunde Museum this is probably the most intact V2 testing site. Unfortunately the location is not that secret and if you know what to search for and I would imagine the owners have constant problems with tresspassers trying to get in.
