I was introduced to this channel by a therapist while in a psych hospital. For years, this channel has brought me peace and joy and just amazing music. "We can make it if we try" - this whole time I was waiting to comment on how much this is a tribute to not only Bobby Caldwell but also Grover Washington Jr. and "Just The Two Of Us" and then you hit us with that lyric. Well played, Mr. Bradlee. Well played. Another excellent cover, and I might say - I definitely prefer this to the original.

Covers like this are exactly why I follow PMJ. They do good stuff all the time, but now and again you get the 'superb' cover. Last one before this when they blew me away was when Hailey Reinhart covered 'Creep'. Before that I thinnk it was Kate Davies doing 'All About That Bass'. Dates me, yes.

Been listening to this on repeat recently on Spotify and stumbled across the video just now on RU-vid (take that algorithms!). Great song, which I already knew, but wow, what an awesome performance on video as well! The look of delight on Thor Jensen's face when Kenny Jackson goes off on his solo bass riff, had me grinning myself. Love everything PMJ does, can't get enough.
