Wow. honest mate im not sure what to say, this was amazing, the production was amazing, the editing great, your narrative and presentation over it, simply perfect. dude this is sooooo good man. Started owning Mazda Rotaries back in 1974 (RX3, RX4) . Since 1978 I have owned all three generations of the RX7, and raced stock and modified versions too. Just a super car and series. Recently a 2006 FD RX-7 fetched over $50,000 USD at a Barret-Jackson Car auction. I wish I still had all of my RX7s. I did keep my 2008 40th Anniversary RX8, slightly modified and upgraded, and still in top running order 14 years after initial purchase. Miss my FD and my race modified RX7 the most . The funny thing about the FD is that it's considered the "iconic legendary rotary sports car" by enthusiasts everywhere while having almost nothing to do at all with what gave the RX-7 it's iconic legendary status. The RX-7 is considered to be the "winningest car ever" due to it's absolute dominance in the IMSA GTU class through the 80's with the series 1-3 SA22C and series 4-5 FC chassis' which is why you see the IMSA GTU Championship stickers in the back windows of 1st and second gen RX-7s with previous consecutive years that they won in that class. When the FD came out it was seldom used by mazda's racing division in any major races and/or classes. It was more of a dealership jewel that was hated by service techs that had to deal with their numerous warranty claims for the complicated twin turbo setup and vacuum lines which made it a total nightmare to work on and why many FD owners today have opted for a single turbo setup. Because of it's visual appeal more people are attracted to it and therefore pay more attention to it and completely ignore previous models that developed and gave the RX-7 it's rich background. It essentially just took all of the credit without having to do any real work at all. It's a great car and vastly improved over previous gens, but the FD is not the "legendary icon" that people think it is.
