Lets visit some filming Locations of Last of The Summer wine in Holmfirth Yorkshire. Join us as we also check out the Holmfirth tour that goes to all the amazing places for film locations. We will visit Norra Batty's house, the infamous wrinkled stocking tea room and also the resting places of Compo and Cleggy (bill Owen resting place) in St Johns evangelist church The Church overlooks the Pennines . We will also visit sid's Cafe and some other great attractions in Holmfirth Town. Last of the Summer wine filming locations are popular not only in the United kingdom but also for New Zealand and Australian travelers.

My Mum and Dad always watched Last of the summer wine and I still watch it nearly every night before I sleep I just love it as it brings back so many happy memories for me ♥️♥️

Holmfirth and Last of the Summer Wine, certainly captured my heart. I miss the program very much as well as the actors who portrayed the characters. After many years of watching them, they really did seem like family. I shed tears while watching Compo's funeral. The look of grief on his fellow actors faces, seemed very genuine, indeed.

Brilliant video, thank you for showing this. I have many fond memories watching Last of The Summer Wine as a young boy on Sunday evenings in the 1980’s. RIP Bill Owen, Peter Sallis & Brian Wilde. It was never the same without Compo.

Nice Video. When you said though that Peter Sallis and Bill Owen were nearly next to each other though, The fact is that they are next to each other. The black marble grave stone that you almost skimmed past says Wm. J Owen Rowbotham which was Bill’s real name. The stone that you focussed on was placed by his son Tom who also appeared in Last Of The Summer Wine.

Love this old town, the cake at the coffee shop gave me an urge LOL nice tour bus. the grave site is interesting and flowers all the way from America wow. Lots of different cheeses. like 2 have a great day

Thanks for your wonderful video. I grew-up and live in Chicago and Holmfirth is on my bucket list. My family is English and we all love Last of The Summer Wine. Love British comedies, we have reruns on tv of Keeping Up with Appearances and Are You Being Served? Then also the one with Judi Dench, As Time Goes By. :) Very cool to make such a visit and know where they filmed it. Big Thumbs Up!

I've never seen that show, but I did like Keeping Up Appeances and was a big Open All Night fan from the same creator. Still a nice look around and a beautiful church near the end.

Always move your camera from left to right up and down very slowly otherwise you get people dizzy also you should have zoomed in on the headstones so people could read the dates otherwise thanks for showing us around

When the series first started..Bill Owen and team stayed at the Elephant and Castle..Bed and Breakfast, Clean shaved on a Friday evening and smartly dressed and liked a whisky or 2
