I have to say this was such an incredible battle to see live, for anyone to say who won what... Let me say as usual, you had to be there to see the energy that was being delivered back and forth, it was anyone's game. Both of these dancers are extremely humble, and inspire me to keep leveling up. Iron Mikes comment at the end is what moved me personally because he discovered the vibe in Vancouver is unlike anywhere else in the world. Respect, to dancers and the Host's of this event. -TooTall

Man... everything you can't (or barely) see or hear in this video is what made Iron Mike win this. I had no doubt in my mind that Iron Mike wouldn't have one after watching that as it happened. And I also doubt that anyone else who was on that stage would disagree with the judges decision.

Probably the best I've ever seen Mike do and one of the best battles in 2012. But...I don't seem get it though, what does Mike have to do to please people? He improved a good 100% and his moves are way cleaner and are on time more. Slim also brought his A-game and delivered very well. It could of gone either way for me but I'm extremely happy to see Mike again and how he has improved. Either way, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

To me Slim got all three rounds. Mike just hit so hard and it was boring. Slim was dancing and the musicality was just unparalleled

The reason why Slim is involved in LOS for three years straight is simply because we are very good friends on a personal level. The result of the battle does not matter to us that much to be honest on the organizing end. I found that using the word "cheat" is very unfair to both Mike and Slim, these two dancers demonstrated the artform to the fullest to show Vancouver community what this culture is about, and that's the whole point we are putting this together. I'm a long time Mike fan and have seen him battling the best for almost a decade. He's a very respected dancer. Given that, In "This battle " he's missing snares, waiting for the beat, lacking musical flow, and timing sets. These are all very clear to the seasoned eye. In contrast, Slim Boogie doing NONE of the above. Rhythmic dancing at a very high level, musicality stomping and natural transitions. I'm taken aback that mike had to resort to interrupting Slim mentally to steal the last round
