I love the videos, you guys do such a great job. I was wondering if you could look into a case that happened in 2017 North Dakota Savannah Greywind. A first Nation woman killed well 8 months pregnant and then had her baby removed.
how is strangling someone to death with your belt in any way manslaughter?! It's not like she can say 'Oh well since I was so drunk I slipped and tripped and the next thing I knew the belt was off my waist and tightly around her neck, total accident!'
She cut a deal for telling the truth as she knew it anyways... happens all the time better to have a confession and her get some time and the family habe some justice and not a drawn out court hearing they settled and let her plea out ... also she claimed that she never remembered why or that she even did it they were young and both under the influence . It wasn't proved to be anything with a clear motive or any premeditated planning of the murder. Therefore it's manslaughter at best with the information they had available.
She only got 7 years??😦 And it takes a lot of strength to strangle someone.. she had plenty of time to change her mind!! It can take several minutes to actually kill !!
I was charged with attempted murder but it was downgraded to aggravated assault when I explained what happened and went to jail at a treatment centre for 15 months atop the 7 months I was in holding but, as I walked across Canada and ran into cops I found that their records, rcmp, opp, etc. still have me down as attempt murder in their systems. Thankfully I can go for a pardon now but, if I was American, wow, I probably would still be in jail and not have had the chance to turn my life around.
In the first story the girl that was charged only ended up doing 3 years & moved with family in South Africa; she was so hated over here for what she did, especially considering the fact she’s free now & barely paid for what she did. Despicable 😡😡
That poor girl (the victim) really didn’t get justice for her murder. It’s crap like this that angers me. She was brutally killed, and discarded like trash, yet her killer basically gets a slap on the hand. SMH.
The submarine one always freaks me out so much. Kim’s final moments must have been absolutely terrifying trapped underwater I’m claustrophobic too so it’s horrific to think about.
Yeah, the fact that she had balls of steel to dedicate herself to get into the submarine because being a wonderful writer that she is, really proved how strong her heart was. I really can't imagine the horrors she faced during her last moments, I have claustrophobia too and I can't imagine myself sitting in such a tight space. She deserves the best and beautiful peace, RIP Kim, you lived the life of a lion.
One thing that should be remembered was that submarine was built by Kickstarter money. Seriously, the submarine involved with that second story was something built through the money that people were willing to pay to see that guy build in the end.
Yeah it’s crazy to think this guy was like yes I’ll have a reporter a member of the press/media come on board then I’m gonna murder her and get away with it after crashing(?) the submarine. And then I imagine her alone with this guy and suddenly something snaps and she knows somethings wrong he comes at her she runs he’s chasing her around this claustrophobic strange under water tight metal coffin before he catches her and brutally murders and probably rapes her before chopping up her body….. this case really fucks with me
@@Electragirl5 you must be a parent or really great sibling and friend because I got the same hole in my heart thinking about Kim’s final moments. And was he truly so cocky he just expected everyone to believe his asinine story? The fear that Kim must have felt when she realized she’s never walk out of that underwater tin can alive, my heart breaks for her poor mum & da, and all her friends and family. She had such a blossoming career that we will all miss out on now thanks to that coward.
ill always be thankful for anything covering brittany gargols murder. i went to school with her and she was so kind to me and everyone i saw her hang out with. we had a memorial for her in the school and i didnt process it at the time so now im always looking for answers and the full story. disgusting that she only got 7 years for this...
@@redcrownbearer Yeah, kinda glad I moved away otherwise I would have went to one of those schools. Nutana is suposed to be one of the good schools. I'm sorry for ur loss btw.
@@EzratheRift yeah that was the only big thing that happened when i went there from what i can remember. thank you by the way that's very kind of you !
There is one photo that I find more haunting than the one of Regina, though not by much. The photo of Samantha Koenig that Israel Keyes sent to her parents as "proof of life" for a ransom demand. She was dead and propped up, eyes open, holding a newspaper.....truly disturbing.
My heart breaks for Samantha but Regina had been assaulted in every way possible and was stuck with a psychopath in the middle of a field, with him taunting her and then killing her by slowly strangling her with barbed wire until she was almost decapitated.Horrible.
@@DawnSuttonfabfour Yep! It really pisses me off when murderers that love to torture victims kill themselves after they get caught. Little whimps that cant handle life in jail. What chicken shits they really are. I think that they should be made to suffer the same injuries their victims endured. I propose a prison system that murderers are treated to the same tortures that they lovingly utilized. Like the BTK killer could be bound and tortured but not necessarily killed. Let them heal up a bit and do it again. Sooner rather than later they would die and save taxpayers a hell of a lot money!😉If murderers knew these were the consequences they face when caught, well maybe they'd think twice about doing it. Sorry I got a little macabre there but man I'm so tired of good people dying at the hands of F'd up psychopaths!
Most murders are connected with murder though, like if you stay away from drugs your chances of getting killed are drastically lower than if you deal with drugs.
@@PygmalionFaciebat Mads is an extremely common name in Scandinavia and is a shorten version of Mathias. The last name Madsen is used by about 60k people in Denmark alone. Good pun and all though, but staying away from all with that name, or variants of it, would be difficult 😆
What's even more sickening about Madsen's submarine murder is that they found videos on Madsen's laptop of women being tortured, raped and dismembered. Not by Madsen, but it gives you the chill knowing what Kim's last hours might have been like.
What's even worse is they tried blaming her for being in the sub with him and they literally brought up the fact that she was wearing a skirt. Like it's her fault that he killed her
That is so sickening. This video has me feeling ill. What I can not understand is this life without parole-shit. Those last 2 men do not deserve to breathe the air on this earth, nor see the light of our Lord.
I mean ive gone to my grandmas house while completely drunk a few times. Ate some nice food etc and went back to drinking with my friends. My grandma doesn't mind it lol
@@456sud9 That’s different than going to a nursing home at that time. They don’t even allow visitors at that time! She’s an idiot lol she could’ve said she was dropped off at a guys house or anything but she said she went to visit her uncle 🤣🤣 & had him in on it lol
@@Schrodingers_Kat Did… Did you just put words in their mouth? They’re clearing saying at least she didn’t have any PTSD, trauma, or survivor’s guilt. Even if she was alive, she would have severe trauma and paranoia that one day her predator will be released. She would wake up with nightmares and cry everyday on the memories of her abuse. Yes, at least she’s alive. That doesn’t mean she wouldn’t suffer more
That's exactly what I was thinking. The picture with her hand over her mouth isn't common defensive body language, but is often associated with shocked women in horror films. Im willing to bet he told her to pose like that for the photos
The sub case: He did plan his crime!!! Before he aproved to Kim's request to be interviewed he had asked several other women to come to his sub for a ride. And it's proven that he had been bringing several odd items that doesn't normally belongs in a sub, like saw, several screwdrivers, rope and what not... And the narrator don't tell a word about Madsen and his deadly interests in slashing and hacking and sexually harming woman bodies. The police found loads of shit on his computer. Videos photos and what not. And searches how to get rid of a body at sea... So at least I believe that he planned to do his crimes ahead. And sadly I don't believe that Kim was his first victim choice. Fate or whatever saved the others that refused or just declined his invitation and it was Kim that got all his fucked up brainwash ideas to get her killed. Poor soul! I'm Swedish so I've been following this case in fear and interest. Poor Kim's family and other close to her. And the story didn't end when he was sent to prison for life, the idiot made himself a form of bomb belt and threatened guard so he tried to escape! But didn't get that far outside the prison. One of the photos shown in this video, when he's sitting on the grass, is when he tried escape and had been forced to sit down. And above all this horror and what not he has married IN prison! A former Russian lady that now lives in Finland is married to him...how does a woman think well even consider talking friendly to such an arse... blows my mind And btw sorry for my crappy english.
@Fedor Silva she was a journalist/reporter! And had wanted to interview him for a long time. And he didn't plan to take her with him; he had asked two other women before Kim... So when both of them turned him down, he went to Kim. She and her bf were having a goodbye party that same evening because they were moving to China (if I remember right). So way to many odd factors led to Madsen would take Kim with him in there hell journey down to the bottom of the Kattegatt sea... Poor poor woman! And another thing, madsen was a famous person before this horrible act. He had made a name of himself as rocket man and he built that submarine by himself. So I don't think Kim was scared to ride with him. She was probably looking forward to do her interview and have a exciting trip in a submarine...but faith wanted others. Hope I could clear some for you?
Your English is better than my own! You are right though, I believe that he had planned this murder. Especially since he stabbed her body to make it less buoyant
Well… if she’s foreign, marrying him makes sense. Now I’m not quite sure but if he was American, if she were to marry him, she’s granted a form of citizenship and since he’s imprisoned, she’s free to do whatever she wants without fear of him since he’s behind bars. If a foreign woman is seeking citizenship without being forced to cater to a loveless marriage, I’d say she’s a genius considering the circumstances.
@@ctcdreamer erm this is Nordic countries all. Madsen is Danish, Kim Wall that was murdered was Swedish and the Russian woman marrying Madsen is living in Finland. So I don't understand at all your comments on the state's and what not. Wonder if you read this thread at all....
I figured she had something to do with it. Once she made that post on social media, fake looking for her. That just seemed suspect to me. No one ever does that.

I was taught by our US government to extract information from enemies by ANY MEANS POSSIBLE. I'd LOVE to 'work on' the so called truck driver psychopath. It's sad but true that a professionally trained interrogator can lead a subject to plead for death. There are ways to create unendurable pain. One (out of 100s) that I know involves 'working on' the sciatic nerve. A colleague of mine lost one terrorist to a heart attack because to pain level became so intense his body went into shock and shut down. He was using a sharp instrument to 'probe' the sciatic nerve that runs beneath the upper left buttock. The prisoner was gagged, but I could still hear his screaming. I'd have absolutely no compunction against 'probing' White!!
As a rebellious teen who had the perfect loving supportive family, I used to hop in strangers cars and run away and skipped class. It always breaks my heart hearing the stories like the last one because that last girl and boy could have been me. Teens do some dumb things, but they dont deserve to die for mistakes. Wish these other children were as fortunate as I was. 😞 poor things.
Yea. Usually when we become adult then we realised how dumb we are back then. Young & rebellious teens does not come only from trouble parent but even to perfect loving parents. As most of our times spend outside the house & with friends, this environment that make us blind to think which is good & bad.
@@mitchadmiral1210 But they’re replying to someone bringing religion into this. I never see atheists preaching, all they do is respond. I don’t see atheists saying God isn’t real under unrelated comments, but I see religious people doing that all the time (instead saying or implying “God is real”). To me, there is no difference. It’s annoying.
It's so strange to think that while I'm watching to this video, there is a crime happening now, that will be covered on this channel...at a later date.
@@Thequietone974 Yeah here in Oklahoma where I live there is a gas station off I 35 that had the largest amount of lot lizard lion ever seen and the cops let them do their thing and most of the time period then a bunch of them started turning up missing so now they cracked down there but it was kinda weird and I do believe the number was in more than 5 < 10
i once saw madsen when i was a kid and out driving with my dad. he told me there was this weird guy building his own submarine in the area and we drove there to see it, and HE was there. he talked briefly with my dad while i watched from the car. the memory still haunts me tbh, the fact that i saw a to-be sadistic murderer and the sub he murdered Wall in years later. i hope he rots in prison.
@@izzyneubs For me its disturbing how ''well'' psychopaths can behave, to deceive someone. It makes it hard to trust others. Otherwise we are often relying on trust, often even in strangers. That makes it so difficult. But yes, there are few useful principles i think... for example: never hitchhiking; never met a toxic aggressive ex-boyfriend who ''just want to talk'' ...and always trust your guts. If someone feels fishy , dont think 'what if i'm only to paranoid'. Even if the 'guts' are wrong...usually you dont lose any big thing by NOT met with someone...or go somewhere, you have a bad feeling about it. All those things are 'kind of' common sense. But mostly young people are into ''adventures'' often, and that makes them vulnerable. And yes, it also would hunt me, if i met Madsen before his killing.
@@MXedits_1 Yes. If it would be otherwise, they would have starved out by the houndred of thousand of years mankind exist (by selection). So they need to have adaptive capabilities. Literally they just cant feel empathy. It even doesnt mean they cant act empathic. To compare it with ''us'' - its like to go to the dentist. We dont want to, but we understand that we need to, to keep our teeth functional. Usually also psychopaths recognize the usefulness of acting empathic. And like you already said: they not all violent killers. I'm sure if a psychopath is intelligent he usually choose to be manipulative, instead of being violent.
A little update on Peter Madsen, FYI: as set in the film, the head was the last to be found. since Madsen just gave these wierd storieson how she died, and where the rest of her remains were. The Police decided to search Madsens house where they found a two harddrive worth of snuff-porn and there were rumors that he may had been a part of a ring, who shared these things amongst each other. This was gain even more substance later when divers were able to recover some tech gear from the sub. By restoring what was possible after two weeks in salt water showed that Madsen had filmed Kims final hour, they could confirm that he stabbed her, in such a way that not a single one of the stab wounds in and of it self were fatal ,which means she was alive til the very last one. Peter Madsen, will never be a free man again... or so we thought in little Denmark. Somehow he had manage to make an attrap of a gun and convinced the psychologist he were being treated as a part of his sentence at, that he had no interest in ever trying to escape....well he did. He was free for less than 4 hours, someone wanted to keep him behind bars, because never since the war has more heavy armored unit been dispatched for a manhunt. they brought every last rifle and gun out that day. Madsen is behind bars again and was planing his wedding, yes wedding, with some freak a presume. Our politicians and the peoples at large, decided that him especially but also others of his evil kind should have that right taken away ,and so they did.
In spite of the serious subjects, the use of unrelated stock footage makes me laugh. Especially when you talk about finding bodyparts on the Danish coast and illustrate it with footage of a beach covered in palm trees.
Rest in peace Kim Wall. Such a horrifying case. I cannot imagine her last hours. Madsen managed to escape from prison at one point. Quickly recaptured. I hope he is never released.
Speaking as someone who was held at gunpoint once, never let the perp tie you up or take you with them. Yes, there is a small chance they might shoot you, but if they want to bind or abduct you you will almost certainly be tortured first and then die anyway. It’s tempting to do what they ask thinking it will save your life, but all it really does is reinforce the dynamic that they control the situation.
@@jacobh2147 of course there’s a chance. But that’s only the case if the perp knows you to be wealthy. Obviously my scenario doesn’t apply to every single person, so just insert almost in front of never.
The best advice I've heard with regard to kidnapping is this: If you want to take me with you, you'll have to drag my corpse into your vehicle. NOTHING good happens at a second location. Better to fight and die, than to submit and die anyway.
They always seem "trustworthy" 👀 but Robert's mugshot is absolutely vile...and the fact that he's still alive and possibly around 50 women/men dead because of him...HOW IS THAT JUSTICE. Poor Regina. Those photos have always haunted me.
At least it appears to be that he had a stroke and I pray its a really bad one from which he will be disabled and not recovering. I know from my work how awful strokes can be, so I wish him all the worst
I know, it should be nailed to a chair in some basement while being pulled apart by a pair of pliers and force fed sawdust. It doesn't make sense to me at all. Why should it, and things like it, be allowed to survive.
That final picture of Regina is horrifying. I wasn't surprised to see it included here, she was the first person to spring to mind when I saw the title of the upload. Poor kid. 😔
I hate to say this but ... that was her fault! Who in their right mind would get in a submarine alone with a stranger ... and the boyfriend ... why would he be ok with such a dangerous situation?
@UCzMhGZQ8LL08SgToXVOd6gg This was in Denmark not USA, we trust each other here.. To such an extent we even let our babies nap outside restaurants while the parents eat. no babies have ever been “stolen” and no hitchhikers ever ended up dead, I would have went in that sub too, sadly Madsen was terrible mentally ill… But there is nothing weird in trusting people in Scandinavian countries and the fact that you think so, probably says more about your sh*t hole of a country than it says about her decision.
Nickie She should was a journalist and everyone knew about her doing this interview with him. This submarine guy was sort of famous in Denmark and Sweden too, I actually saw a documentary about him before the murder (damn I was creeped out and shocked when the murder happened), so she must have felt sade because of those reason, if he tried something the suspicion would immudiatly be on him. I think though that he thought to highly of himself to actually get caught, in the documentary he seemed very fascinating)/inspiring but really narcissistic too.
Regina K Walters is one of those cases I never forget. Thinking about what she went through is painful. I imagine that that vile killer simply thought of Regina as an insect as he slowly and methodically destroyed her. Ricky & Regina forever.

Kim Walls murder still shock me to this day, I cant imagine the horror of being entrapped in such a small space, deep underwater where no one can hear you and with only the murderer able to control the submarine, no way out, no way to get to the surface. The absolute horror she must have gone through is unimaginable.
Not a lot of people know this about the Madsen murder: A lady who was a friend to him was offered a ride on his submarine, but said no because she found him creepy.
Hey, I'm from Saskatoon, and I remember this case, didn't know the murderer only got 7 years, but that's par for the course up here in the land of the lenient justice system.
Australias the same. A 17 year old deliberately ran over a man and his pregnant girlfriend while in a stolen SUV, didn't see a day of prison and is out waddling free.
I remember the submarine case here in Denmark. It was such a huge case and truly one of the most horrifying and disturbing ones I've heard about so far. A little correction though: Body parts didn't kept showing up at the shore. It was only the torso which they later on verified it belonged to Kim Wall. Then they went out to look for the rest with divers and that dog as mentioned in the video.
Tak Nina. This detail really annoyed me also. The police did so much work in ensuring that ALL of Kim was brought home and could be laid to rest by her family. She certainly did not wash up on shore, but each part found in separate bags, weighed down by screws and tools, Madsen had brought with him for the purpose. It was planned. And the police spend any and all types of resources in finding her in the water. The torso gave them the right lead to where to look, because they could calculate the currents and correlate with the submarines travel path, and this way found out where he dumped it, and how it days later ended up on that shore, and where to then search with the water cadaver dogs for her other remains. It was amazing forensic police work, and shows how much effort Danish police puts in to, not only solving a case, but also respect the victim and their families.
Life can be extremely cruel...right before moving to Shanghai with your beautiful wife who is flourishing in her career.. all that unimaginable happiness is just ripped away by a psychopath. I hope her loved ones found peace
Living in Denmark I am super familiar with the Peter Madsen murder, it was very big on social media, a really freaky fact I can look back on now is that I talked to Peter a few months before this murder because his submarine was parked right next to the camping ground for the yearly metal festival in Copenhagen, my bestfriend and I thought it would be cool to sail on a submarine. Looking back on it now I am very glad we never did sail with this man and just talked for a few mins instead.
The story about her going on the sub, the actuality of what happened to her is intensely more grotesque than what's mentioned here, he absolutely tortured her in the worst ways and everything was 100% premeditated with the tools he took and other items, it's a really messed up story and she sincerely suffered.
Those photos of Regina are so eerie. The one of her holding her hand up as if to say "please stay back" is the worst. Her face is just covered in utter fear.
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy So happy to get my daily dose if EWU... YES I AM ADDICTED. ALL I DO IS TALK ABOUT THIS CHANNEL ON FB... AND RESEARCH ALL THEY SAY... ON OF THE BEST TRUE CRIME NARRATORS BY FAR
Genuinely a tragic case, can we all just take a moment to appreciate how much work goes into these pieces of content! Love the levels of detail you bring to your cases, inspiring to the true crime cases I'm covering for sure!
The most memorable last picture that still haunts me to this day would be the picture of Omayra Sánchez Garzón Such a sad story and such a haunting last photo..
Or it’s because she’s in Canada and they’re known for giving short sentences to murderers. If you do your research instead of trying to pull the “boo hoo men are victims” card you’ll see that the same has happened with men murderers there.🙄
as a danish person, i remember the case with Peter Madsen, and honestly, it's rare that this happens in Denmark... and this freaked the country, and then he escaped!? but like was found 5 km away from prison but like still... never been so freaked out in my life... Just the way that Peter chopped her up was insane and Peter should be happy that we don't have the death penalty!!
Send him over to us. We've got plenty of syringes and can make sure he gets what he deserves. And don't start whinging about a life sentence being more humane. Who pays for 3 hots and a cot every year for the rest of his evil life? I assume you realize that we tax paying working Americans get the bill. Yeah that's a better option. Remember an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Think about it.
I'm danish and here are some details from a danish documentary about the slaughter on the submarine. Madsen's ex-girlfriend said he was extremely abusive toward her and that he had a s3xual fetiche. He would force her to do s3x tapes and go to orgi3s. Just the day before the murder, he lost a local space race because his rocket was not 100% complete and that might have been the drop for him to commit the crime. (Say the investigators) At the time of the investigation, police found a hard drive full of snuff videos (I'm not going to specify what that is), and basically what he did to this poor woman was trying out what he had seen on the videos... He put some kind of metal rod through her, bottom all the way up to the neck, and after that, he cut her up so it would be easy for him to dispose of the body. The worst thing about this for me is that, when I was younger, Madsen was on some tv shows showing his "home build" submarine, he seemed so admirable, also because he built rockets. After his incarceration, he escaped prison by literally walking out the main gate... (talk about high-security prisons in Denmark...) and went to a nearby gas station where he stole some food. He was only caught because someone had called the police because he tried to steal food...
Being a Dane and hearing about the whole Peter Madsen incident it's worth noting that he now has a pretty big fan group and have had multiple girlfriends while still in Prison. One of these women went onto national television and talked about how she got manipulated by him through all the letters. And life time in Denmark is not "life time"
Sadly normally a manslaughter charge only carries ten years but the fact it went from 2nd degree murder to manslaughter with only 7 years and only serving 3 is fucking crazy
Do a story on the UNMARKED GRAVES that are being found underneath old Canadian or American schools for Native American children. Needs to be talked about more than it is. Nothing new unfortunately.
I knew exactly who the last one was as soon as you mentioned it. I didn't even need to hear her name. I am sorry that this memory of the most haunting photo of Regina is burned into the minds of so many people. I am positive she would not have wanted to be remembered that way. So so so sad for all the victims :(
It was well before the days of the narcissistic selfie. Worrying about what she looked like would have been the last thing on her poor terrified mind, especially knowing full well he's going to kill her. I'm surprised at the priorities of some people these days.
Ricky and Regina ran away around about 5th feb. It was on march 20th her father received a phone call asking if they had found her yet. I would guess he had her six weeks . As for the trauma for her parents, she had an older sister who committed suicide in 1982. Her parents had grounded her and she left them a note telling them she hated them for ever
I was just thinking to myself before watching the video what is the most disturbing photo I've seen and I recalled the photo of Regina. Saw it first time years ago and it still haunts me.
