De Last Post, traditioneel de laatste groet aan de gesneuvelden, wordt sinds 1928 door de klaroeners uitgevoerd ter ere van de soldaten van het toenmalige Britse Rijk en van de geallieerden die in Wereldoorlog I in de 'Ypres Salient' gesneuveld zijn. "Last Post" ceremony, at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium on September, 27st - 2018, with participation of "The Pipes and Drums Combined RSL Centenary of Anzac"
Since 1928, the Last Post, the traditional final salute to the fallen, is played by the buglers in honour of the memory of the soldiers of the former British Empire and its allies, who died in the Ypres Salient during the First World War. It is the intention of the Last Post Association to maintain this daily act of homage in perpetuity.
