This ride debuted on May 1, 1989 at Disney's Hollywood Studios (at the time it was known as Disney's MGM Studios) and was located inside the park's replica of Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
This ride featured a number of big name movies and actors. The ride included: Singin' in the Rain, Mary Poppins, The Public Enemy, Man with No Name, Alien, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Tarzan the Ape Man, Casablanca, Fantasia, The Wizard of Oz and more.
Such actors and actresses come to life through audio-animatronics including Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke, James Cagney, Sigourney Weaver, Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Judy Garland and of course, Mickey Mouse.
This ride officially closed on August 13, 2017 and is going to be replaced with a new ride and the first to feature Mickey Mouse - Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, which is to open in Spring 2020.
