Good job Rachel 👏🏻👌🏻 The shrinkage of sleeves can be caused by the deformation on your elbows : when you stretch a knitted fabric widthwise it shrinks lengthwise, so when your sleeve gets baggy around the elbow because you bend your arms, it shrinks in length 😊 or maybe it's something else here but it's a hint !
Denise is a great crafter, and so generous! I look forward to the spiral , whenever that happens, no worries. As to the size, just using a different weight yarn will change the size.
i actually love making winter garments out of non-wool....as someone who lives in dc it gets like, cold enough that i want a layer or something to block the wind but not cold enough that i can actually wear 100% wool very often! i made a hat out of knitting for olive cotton merino because i wantd a super chunky double to quad layer hat but have a warm head and it was perfect!
