@@benjaminaureliosunarja2201 O-Oh my.. what happened? ''try to move but remain stuck in place'' It is no use, I think my body components are offline.. I.. I can't communicate. I can't even move a leg... It's 5:15... Must mean it's sunrise at the surface.. I wonder what humans are doing.. Maybe they are still asleep.. Blooky.. I- Im sorry for leaving you.. (Metatton final thoughts we're not of the underground denizens) (Though he cared deeply for his family, his fans and friends) (His mind drifted to the final question that puzzled him) (Making him stop focusing at what was in front of him) I can sense the life energy of anyone who crosses the barrier.. But the human, even though being here only once... somehow could navigate the underground as if they've been here before.. How is that possible..? And it is so sudden.. They didn't even waste a microsecond before going into... And somehow knew who and where everyone was... How? Without even a single though One by one... How? For anyone who doesn't understand the significance of this song let me try to explain This song is the ending song for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. It was accompanied by a panning shot of our heros and the places they went over their adventure. It was a metaphor, that ( like undertale to a degree) the destination was not not as important as the journey and the people you met and made friends with. Even though the series ends on a bitter sweet note, it makes you appreciate what happened on the adventure and the people we meet. If you have not, please consider watching Stardust crusaders or at lest the last train home to see what the creator was going for and what I believed he/she captured perfectly.
US JOJO FANS JUST MAKE MEMES/JOKES AND TURN THEM INTO WHAT WE CALL JOJOKES WHICH IS JUST SAYING AN ALREADY USED JOKE AND APPLYING A JOJO REFERENCE TO IT.
The Undertale fandom's turned into a pretty huge nightmare, really putting a stink on the game in general with overexposure and whatnot. But damn -- sometimes, one of us pours their heart and their DETERMINATION into something, and a shining diamond comes out of the rough. This is beautifully done, and I was really holding back tears by the ending. I can't believe I'm feeling so nostalgic about the game even though it only came out a few months ago. ;_;
Just absolutely beautiful. My favorite ending from JoJo and now my favorite animation of Undertale. Got all the way to the final lineup by the sunrise, and caught myself thinking, "Wait... aren't you forgetting someone??" and then it scrolled down, and I was in tears. The thing is, this song has always had a melancholy feeling for me, and its use in JoJo and here just enhances that. No matter what you do, sometimes there are those that can't be saved. We just have to remember them.
Man, I dunno if this is enough to after all the overwhelming positive responses. But I just wanna say thanks for everything! I didn't expect this video to get as big as it is now, after all I just did this for fun and for some stress reliever in the midst of working with several projects at once. It's been a fun ride, and I'm glad a lot of people are enjoying this video. Now, I've seen several comments mentioning that they I should've used a better fitting music. I would like to explain: If this wasn't a parody of the JoJo outro that used the same music, I definitely would've used something different, maybe even from the OST of the game, or some badass remix of the game's music, like the suggestion of +bente36 to play this video while listening to Fade Away by MandoPony(Great Timing btw!) However, being a parody of that outro, the song I used in this video is exactly the reason why I made this in the first place; it's design around the song and the way the song was used in the original source video. In the end, I'd like to thank you for expressing your opinions on it :)
+Jerome Jacinto No dude. That song matches the animation perfectly. Especially that part at the end with the vocals and the picture of all the characters getting to the outside world. I m really glad I discovered Pat Metheny thanks to your video (I didn't watch Jojo yet) Keep working on projects like that.
Hard agree, especially how tremendously popular Undertale and JJBA were during their peak 8 years ago, you'd think it would AT LEAST have a minimal of 1 million views or something, but i suppose it makes sense... The song used is sort of a niche, not by a lot but considering how varying jojo is, there's a lot of other interesting stuff to analyse and talk about. With Undertale, these type of videos may or may not be a hit or miss during the 2015/16 days since everyone was more focused on the epic, flashy stuff. Not saying that emotional content like for example: an animation of Asriel's boss fight- gets less attention, it just lacks the hype compared to the dozens of genocide sans fight related stuff, the goodies that people were practically foaming from the mouth about. I can understand why it was so popular but I do not entirely share the same sentiment of it being over hyped. anyways sorry kinda got off track there, much appreciated if you stuck through my rambling 👍
i fucking miss the days when i used to like undertale and it's fucking sad that im missing out good stuff like this i just really wish im going back to 2015 and 2016 those days are so golden and more simple than nowadays because everything is just complicated now I've been in alot of trouble (sometimes), drama and alot more terrible stuffs other than that, this video really brings me back and it actually got me crying a little bit and thank you for making this video, i mean it and undertale with stardust crusaders second ending unexpectedly fits so well and it's quite surprising
To this day, one of the most perfect tributes I've ever seen. It's been more than half a decade but I'll keep coming back to this. You're extremely talented
Man, I wished I discovered this earlier. This is beautiful and pretty emotional. I got to say, as a fan of Jojo and Undertale, you really made us proud.
Frisk: I'm sorry Sans! Please forgive me! Sans: Why don't you ask for forgiveness from Papyrus and everyone else you killed? I wasn't planning on forgiving you anyway. Frisk: I got a lot of money from all those monsters I killed...you can have that. Sans: Good grief... You can't pay back what you owe... WITH MONEY!
This is why I fucking hate the community. 99.9% of the shitty community is Sans, Megalovania, Bad Time, AUs, Genocide Route, Chara being evil, Frisk having a gender even though they don’t, Real Knife, and fangames that include the trashbag known as Sans. And literally all of the strongest characters on other fanbases/games are turned into shitty AUs and have their role as *FUCKING SANS.*
The best part about this video is that you can pause at almost any moment and you have a new desktop background. Excellent job on this, it's fantastic.
+SirAnusFungusMcChungusTheGreat I thought exactly the same thing. The end screen with the outside world, coupled with the singing voices. OMG DATS TOO MUCH FOR ME
Can we all just appreciate that this super talented artist made an fan-made undertale video that didn't worship sans as some kind of god Almost every undertale video I watch literally just talks about sans the whole fucking time even if he nothing to do with the specific theme So thank you so much this is beautifully done, good work.
You could seriously listen to any jojo ending song and this would be exactly the same. Seriously, try it with Roundabout and Walk Like an Egyptian, it's the fucking same.
I dunno, Last Train Home has a special spot in my heart for that unparalleled tranquility and sense of wonder. Roundabout and Walk Like An Eqyptian are excellent, but not quite as fitting for a final sendoff.
+Cheaky Breaky What about Goatbro, tho? Then again, Roundabout has those "I'll be there for you" moments. I dunno, maybe if this video had Roundabout instead I would have seen it in a different light.
WHERE ARE YOUR VIEWS???? I just discovered this video after *4 years* since Undertale came out, this definitely needs more attention! And as a fellow Jojo fan, I respect the amount of time and effort you put into this. This really made me remember the times I was genuinely obsessed with Undertale. People need to see this side of the Undertale fandom more often.
I hope this guy is some sort of artist or game designer and puts this in his portfolio, and some employer sees it and understands his talent and lands him a job.
Franco Rossel Question! I looked it up a little. Is Dio a major character? I ask because I already have a couple other shows I need to check out, but if my favorite voice actor plays a main character, I may have to move it to the top of the list.
***** Yes, he is. He's the main antagonist of Part 1 and Part 3 (And other parts as well, except only 1 and 3 feature him prominently). And one of the most iconic JoJo characters for a reason.
This animation *deserves* to be called literally one of the very best Undertale animations out there. And I can explain why. Nothing else, that've I watched for more than 10 times would still give me just *some* feelings. But this little animation always helps me whenever I need to stop wasting my life on nothing and do good, productive things, like studying. I just watch it and when I see that beauty, (but not only the beauty of the game, it as well is the beauty that affects your heart, your very soul. It's the kind of beauty that is welcomed by almost *any* of us.) And when I see it... I just... It helps. A lot. Undertale is the best game ever. It gave me the most good time I could ever had, taught me the most important lesson of life, and other than changing my life and bringing several people in my life, that I can call real friends... it always helps me. Whenever I go back to it, I always just reassure myself that it really *is* The Best game EVER. And thanks to such artists as you, I can carry it on with me. And well, also.. I can not thank you enough for creating the Dreemurr Reborn comic. It healed my soul when I first found it after playing Undertale. So... recieve this love message and stay happy. We all are going to live comparetively short life. Let's live it the best way we can, and show the world that you don't have to be a king to change it! All it takes is to be determined at doing the right thing.
I rewatch this religiously and only now noticed the royal guards are holding hands. This video now has another reason for making me cry, which it never fails to do anyway.
I looked for this video for 4 years since it came out in 2016. Watching JoJo last night, this song sparked my memory of it and I’m glad I found it again!
Magnificent! Excellent cinematography and fantastic work on the drawings and animation! First time watching, I felt that the visuals were not only well-timed with the music but also true to the game's story and wide cast of characters! You must've done a considerable amount of research to stay this true! All in all, I consider this a splendid tribute well done! I look forward to seeing music videos like this from you in the future! P.S. I also felt that the reference to Josuke and Kira from Diamond is Unbreakable is a perfect touch too what with the upcoming new season of JoJo and all.
For a "parody," this cinematic piece was very well made. I enjoyed it from start to finish - not only because I like Undertale, but also because I'm a JJBA fan. I look forward to seeing more of your videos :-). Speak of videos, what engine did you use to make this?
I keep coming back to this video just to marvel at the dedication that went into this. Calling it a "parody" to me, takes away from just how great this is since it pays tribute to JoJo while still staying true to the mythos of Undertale. Admittedly the first time I watched this, I'd finished the True Pacifist run so seeing Asriel at the end really got me good. Heck it does so even to this day. As was the case with the original JoJo ending, this is one hell of a mural that also serves as an earnest sendoff. Thank you, Kyle and Jonas for this.
The saddest thing is that kakyoin left without notifying his parents. In the manga it says that his parents think he ran away from home. And then gets killed by dio
Sans: *yellow cloud shaped like a human* Jotaro: ... Sans: Did someone died in ur universe? Jotaro:No...its in your Sans: we dont have humans here...oh wait where its the kid? Sans: *Grabs Jotaro* Where... Jotaro: Im sorry...
You can't call an entire group of people cancerous just because a very small minority of them are absolute idiots. Those absolute idiots are in every group of people. Every fandom, every hobby. Plenty amongst the 'normal people'. That would mean all of humanity is cancerous, which includes yourselves. If you're going to get misanthropic about it, that's fine. Otherwise, try not to judge many people by their comparatively few worst.
I remember seeing this when it first came out, when I was eager to absorb anything even tangentially related to Undertale. Coming back here in 2020 makes me look back on how far I’ve come since then.
Absolutely gorgeous. With all the Undertale shitposting going on, it's brilliant to see something that's just a classy tribute to the story. (ALso, JBA is awesome so that too.) 10\10
My god this was so beautiful. That feeling of along ride only to finally reach the end... I'm not gonna forget that feeling Watching JoJo. And Undertale gave me a feeling of what determination is after a shitty year. What you've made here is something so beautiful.
Frisk Joestar: "The things we can't get back are too numerous, and too great. What we've lost is as vast as the world itself. But it's because of him that we still live. Asriel... it's over."
This is simply well done and it's amazing on how there are still some people who have sense in a fan base that don't make jokes, or even ship posts. It's relieving to see people who put effort into something for what they love and enjoy.
+Isaac Cook I considered doing that when I started planning the end portion. But I totally felt that him just fading away into nothing created a sense of Asriel being a totally separate entity from Flowey, even though they are the same in reality. In the same way that I felt that post-battle Asriel felt like totally different being from Flowey, even though he says that he'll just turn back into him. But hey, thanks for the critique :-)
Undertale is a rpg game that sets you in a world full of monsters that tricks you to think that all of them are bad, which in reality the're people with hopes and dreams, I totally recommend you to play it but if you're going to *please don't search it up* the amount of spoilers that the web brings you is the same amount of spoilers that you get while searching for a JJBA current character (death) also the OST is pure gold not to mention there's this *one character* That is a (not confirmed) JoJo parody Also the fandom is pure shit just like Fnaf (porn) but has TONS of shitposts just like JoJo
I know this comment is very old but if you havent checked Undertale up till this point then please check it. Both Undertale and JoJo BA are masterpiece.
4 years have past and... Damn, this is still a pasterpiece. Maybe I'm being a bit biased, since I'm both an undertale and JoJo fan but... This might as well be the best video on this platform :')
The one detail that I love so much is how you portrayed the capital city, that was the one place in undertale we never truly got to see, so thanks for putting that in, it's pretty much how I wanted it to look like
The part where Toriel hugs the human, as well as ending with Asriel looking up and fading away with a hopeful smile always chokes me up. Very well done!
Absolutely amazing! I found this in the Undertale Shitposting playlist, but this isn't even remotely that! Amazing work Jerome, absolutely astounding. Just add a little extra fish wife ;D (jk pls don't hate me)
+Dry Dry Lol, I actually regret not adding more Undyne in there, considering she's one of the few characters that make me laugh (ANIME IS REAL) more than the others.
Oh my god its like looking back at an old photo album, seeing all the friends you made and all the adventures you had. watching this made my heart tear into pieces. that feeling, gosh, its so beautiful yet so painful. wonderful work
"Undertale's fandom is trash!" "Undertale is dead now!" These two statements aren't wrong, but I'm sure that in ten, fifteen, twenty years, people will play this game and they will be moved by it, just like how Undertale moved me and many others. Nice video, surprised with how well it worked.
