I'm a big fan of Libedinsky and now this movie and its wonderful dancers. As a designer I'm always looking for flaws in such artistic endeavors. However I cannot find one moment in the choreography that is not beautiful. The dancers are not only skilled in their movement they are natural actors who easily sweep you into the intended mood. The photography is nothing short of world-class ...and the story; costumes; and venue are all inspiring to me as a dancer of alternative tango music. I'm planning a dance art exhibit; and this piece of art must be included if JJ would allow it. Bottom line... This movie and another about the life of Maria Nieves have inspired me to write the following poem... ONE MORE TANGO Tango go Release my heart Go! You tease me so Tango go ...No wait! Please, one more dance ...One more time Was it a dream? One song? One tanda? Seven years? There are no clocks in my dreams Please tell me Tango You are my master I am your slave Will I never find another so wonderful? I don't think so. I grow old I can see the clock now It's okay ...I'll be strong Please just play one more song I'll be brave My heart will pain again I'll survive, but I'm your slave No! The music is "Gente que si" by Carlos Libedinsky. It's available on several albums as one of "various artists." But you can also get it on the Narcotango albums "Narcotango 2" from 2006 and also "Narcotango en vivo" from 2008. The latter can be gotten from Amazon as either a CD or a CD+DVD. The DVD shows them touring & playing the music on the CD.

Ronnie (the dirty rat) has been out all night, "dancing" with Daniela, and has lost all track of time. He hurries home, taking a short cut across his vast fields, only to find his true love Julia, is about to leave him. As he reads her note, he ignites a still smoldering ember deep within her, and they dance once again. Before the dance is over, Julia tragically dies in his arms. He discovers the battery in his phone is dead. Like a moth to a flame, he returns to Daniela to call the police from her apartment. But Mauro is returning from Paris a week early. The police will be very busy.
