Bless y'alls heart! I live in Ga, and I avoid Atlanta's spaghetti junction like it's a plague. And you're not safe there. The worst place ever to break down. Y'all remind me of me and my Mama taking trips together. We went to Dollywood. Talk about mountains! She lived with me and we did everything together. Lord, I miss her so much! I'm so glad I got to spend that special time with her. Really enjoy spending time with you. You amaze me with your carpentrise skills! Hahaha. Best lady carpenter I ever saw.
Norma here. What a fiasco on your way home. That sounded very stressful, but you were right to be extremely cautious. I’ve been to Savannah, GA, which I absolutely loved, but was warned to stay away from certain parts of Atlanta. Yes, every city has good and bad areas. We learned that the hard way going through NC years ago. God was with you though and got you home safely. Can’t wait to see what you’re going to craft. I absolutely love Chia. She certainly knows how to navigate Morrow Hill.
Hi Kim, sorry you have a difficult time returning home but I firmly believe God put you in that hotel that night to see that woman outside to pray for her. Years ago When I worked for Red Cross and would travel alone I would see a lot of people in despair from my motel rooms and I would pray for them. I never knew what became of them but I felt in my heart that they were better off that I prayed for them. There’s always a purpose or reason why you meet or witness someone that touches your heart. Bless you for praying for her while you were under so much stress yourself.

Good morning Kim and Levi. Honestly I don't know how you keep your sanity. So many crafts to do in just days besides farm chores running around and whatever else I'd have a breakdown. As for prescriptions I'm lucky enuf to have Walmart deliver. I call them 5 days or less and I get a text their ready. Sometimes they deliver the same day but usually the next. What you went thru with the car I feel for you. I hate any new vehicles. Have a great day ❤❤
Kim , future reference, yes diminished power can be reset by letting the engine be turned off for a little while. It’s the computer protecting the engine from damage that might occur if you drive at normal speeds. As a last resort, if you’re out in the middle of nowhere, you can disconnect a battery cable to make the computer reset. That’s how these new, computer controlled cars are. It could happen to Gi’s new car. I’m glad you made it home safely.
I admire your family getting together still on Sundays. My family can’t find it to come together on holidays much less four times a month. We all live in different places now but when we all lived in same town after my grandmother died over time everyone got to busy in their own worlds to stop and appreciate what’s important. At least you guys still have some family attending.

In AZ I have seen the police ( on the Fwy) stay with a broken-down vehicle till wrecker arrives, I have even seen a broken-down vehicle pushed by police vehicle off the fwy. I am so sorry for your problems with the rental car and with the problem in Atlanta. I live in Georgia about an hour and a half outside of Atlanta, I try very hard to never go through Atlanta. The traffic is always bad there. Thank you God for protecting them and getting them home safely. When you were in Rome, GA, I wanted so bad to come see you it is only 30 minutes from my home. Good morning Kim and Levi ❤,last week my Chevy Captiva did the exact same thing,the car had Harley any power to go,I was on my way to work ,I turned the car off ,sat a little while then started it back up,made it to work( I’m a home health aide for a special needs young man)who own a dealership that takes care of all my car needs,the dad said real quick,you take my car home and I’ll take your car to the shop the next day, the fixed the car and all is good,that feeling when the automobile is not working properly is a bit unnerving,hope this week is better and you get all your projects done,Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Prosperous New Year 🎉
Hi Kim! I have been to Atlanta one time, thankfully we were picked up at the airport by a shuttle, there is so way I would drive in that city!!!! It gets worse during rush hour when they add lanes from the other side of the road to go the direction that the traffic is going. I would have pulled my hair out for sure. I live about 25 miles from Atlanta and I avoid going there myself. So sorry you had to endure all of this. At least you got to see some other parts of our state that were very nice.

Oh, Atlanta! Always an hour.😞 at least. I try to go thru there only at 2 or 3 AM! …If I’m awake of course. Then it’s a breeze! Oh no! Car trouble 😲how awful!

We could’ve given you different directions or at least come and meet you to give you a ride and some good food. We avoid ATL if we can and try to not use certain parts of the interstate. It’s crazy they made you get a car by the airport. I’m sure there were other offices closer.
I live here in TX up north from you. I drove to GA to see my kids…all good on the way there. I took my 3 dogs with me. On the way back I stopped to let one at a time out for a potty break. Well….my lil Rat Terrier decided to step on my locks AND LOCKED ME OUTTA THE CAR … mind you, car is running…I start praying lol after 20min he finally unlocked the doors.
