I get what you are saying. I found that pass AMUSING, because Nalyssa Smith managed to be standing all alone under the basket. It was so funny the way she didn't want to motion too much, because she would then potentially get picked up. What it comes down to is that there is something entertaining about Clark and that is the value she offers, and now she is starting to gel with the other players. It was an amusing play! Nalyssa Smith looked so cute standing there all alone!
Honestly…never, ever have I seen such a huge crowd at a wmba game. Never watched much of it, but this magnificent performance by the Fevers new comer has drawn a lot of attention. Bravo.

They pass to cc when the clock is winding down and don’t bail her out. Her team mates are intentionally SABOTAGING Clark. Can any fever SET A FREAKING PICK? They do not set a fundamental pick to open up a clean shot for Catlin. You would be cut from any high school team for these consistent LAME ASS PICKS.
I swear i think Clark is already the most talented passer the WNBA has ever had. Her touch and vision is unbelievable. Now her teammates are setting screens to free her up. She's going to be a special player.

There are semi-permanent lashes that people get glued in individually, which is different than putting on a row of fake lashes. But who knows what they have. @@BenjWarrant
As an ole b-ball coach I would have no problem with Kelsey Mitchell with the ball. The more I watch her play and study her stats the more I am impressed with her skills. She was drafted the #2 pick in the 1st round in 2018 which is pretty impressive. Mitchell ball average per game is: 40%=FG, 35%=3 point shooting, 81.3%=FT, 2=assists. Caitlin Clark #’s are: 38%=FG, 32%=3 point shooting, 90.6%= FT, 6=assists. If the Fever is wining the game it wouldn’t matter which of the two have the ball the last two or three minutes. Because of Kelsey Mitchell 6 year WNBA experience I would be comfortable with either one with a slight edge to Kelsey Mitchell as she seems to avoid defensive “trapped” plays getting herself double teamed. The Fever, like the Chicago Sky are young teams who will only get better the more they play together build more team synergy.
She is one of the best. She’s defended by teams in a way no other player in the league is. They’re so keyed on her that the fact she puts up the numbers she does is ridiculous. As her team starts clicking more and more teams are either going to back off on how they defend her or get burned by it worse and worse.
CC is in the same boat Jackie Robinson found himself in. And like Robinson, she's showing nothing but class. Mitchel is not helping her, why is she there?

It is very touching to see this Indiana Fever team possibly coming together. Maybe they are all becoming friends. There was significant camaraderie in this clip. Nalyssa Smith was so funny standing there all by herself under the basket, motioning seemingly as to attract Caitlin's eye, without attracting the Sky! So funny! Because Smith is usually such a fearless player but seeing her in that situation, not wanting to get discovered. It was like a kid's basketball game for a second.
Not only is she incredibly talented but she understands what the word "team" stands for. She has no problem letting other players shine and seems to be a few steps ahead most of the time. She'd be an asset to any team lucky enough to have her. I'm not even that big of a basketball fan but I know talent when I see it. That girl reminds a lot of Larry Bird in so many ways but her passion to work as team is what really shines. This is what the WNBA needs, not more loud-mouthed petulant children.
It was Angel Reese who forgot about Smith. At 1:36 she was covering Smith. But at least Angel got 2 points in the second half of the game. Way to go Angel.

Even with these 2 minutes of play I can see Clark pull all attention to her whenever she gets the ball and make her opponents forget to do their jobs. They hate her so much they fail to play properly.
