Last wash ever for Bosch WFF1800? 90 Cotton: replaced by a Samsung! 

It's just having a break.

There shouldn't be any limescale in that machine, none here in my area. I thought the elements were solid stainless?

@@bootsowen Ah ok. Perhaps from it's previous life? Even so, my area here in the north east uk has acidic water that literally ate through the plating on kettle elements without limescale over years (back in the 90's when kettles had submerged elements, not in the base). The water itself took the plating off the element over time. The water makes a very good cuppa though! Yes I think you're probably right that they are stainless coated nowadays, but perhaps weren't back when this machine was built? I really don't know more than you. 'Just that citric acid does mildly attack raw copper & could explain the colour tint. Harmless for occasional deep cleaning of machines though 👍

What should I do with it?

@@bootsowen well you could use it in the other sellar for your work rags/sheets if your plan is to use the other bosch and samsung as your daily machines but i know you the other boschs so its your chose just a suggestion?

Yeah, it did very well, but it's not gone yet! As for the grail, it'll probably get the last few nappies, their days are numbered! It will mostly depend on load size, we don't have many whites, so they might go in the WFP.
